It went well. John treated me as nice as he did 5 years ago when he installed my new roof. He took care of this issue immediately. This company is very responsible and I highly recommend them.

Wonderfully. They were professional when I made the appointment. They came when they said they would come. The gentleman spent time on the roof inspecting it thoroughly. Reviewed his findings with me and answered all my questions. He gave me a date and time for the repair and arrived exactly on time. The repair was perfect. The icing on the cake was he gave me the best price $597 vs. $750 and $900.

A-1 roofing was very responsive and gave us a very reasonable quote. I love how they were available immediately. Even though it was a small job, they didn't make me wait for weeks like other companies did. Would definitely hire them again in the future!

Everything went according to plan. Their crew arrived early in the morning and started the work. Even though the mess they made when they were removing the old roof was extensive, when they were done I couldn't even tell they were here. We love the new roof. Very happy with this company.

They came the next day with an estimate and were here the following day to do the work. It was a relief to have the knowledge that the predicted heavy rain would not penetrate the uncovered vent pipe and ruin the ceilings in our second story dormer. They were very kind, professional, friendly, and reasonably priced. We are very grateful for their prompt and supportive concern to our needs.

I am very please that A-1 did the work on my house. The house looks beautiful and I have gotten so many compliments on my roof I would especially like to mentioned Tony who showed up with a very large crew of workers. Everyone was so polite during the entire job. They were neat, picked all the debris and carted everything away. I have never seen such a well organized operation! The shrubs around my house were protected, as were my windows and skylights. Tony made the whole process work!! I am pleased with everyone I worked with, from Maria in the office to everyone on the crew!!! These are all professional who treat people nicely! And I am so happy with my house!

We interviewed 4 companies. A-1 was the best one we interviewed, not the cheapest or the most costly. A-1 arrived promptly and provided all relevant information for their services. He went over the costs and features in great detail. They had a nice package laid out , it was easy to read and understand, in the package they included numerous references and home locations by roof color so we could visit to see how they looked. Completing the contract was just a matter of signing the paperwork and emailing to them, then they immediately setup a date for the work. Week before the date of the scheduled work we received a call from the office explaining when, times and what they would do throughout the day. On the day of the work they promptly arrived as indicated, setup up the house to protect it and completed all work by 4pm. The foreman performed a walkthrough with me and then I called the office to ask questions about warranty, some additional painting needed (they recommended someone) and made payment by credit card My daughter in-law was at the house all day with the grandchildren and when she had to come and go she said the staff was very helpful and careful as she and children left and entered the premises. My neighbor commented on how professional the staff seemed and how quickly and diligently they performed their work. Also how good the roof looked. It went very well. They were professional, timely, and polite. They did the work quickly and efficiently. They cleaned up and even cleaned out the gutters. I have no complaints. They did good work for the price.

Showed up on time and was professional. Told him my story, that my house was damaged due to a fire and that I needed to get the siding done asap because I couldn't start interior work. Also told him how much another estimate was, which ended up matching our insurance adjuster worksheet. Due to a scheduling conflict, I was unable to go with the previous estimate. A1's estimate came in double the other estimate. I felt like they tried taking advantage of me and my situation. I ended up finding another company on Angies list that was able to complete the job for under $1800. Be careful. That's what review sites like Angie's list are for, to make people aware of who you're dealing with.

Really a pleasure to work with. Communication was excellent and clearly this second generation of Malizia's in the family business has taken on running A1 with pride and professionalism. As I live with my elderly mom having a crew around without any "ick" factor is really appreciated as well. John was here for the bid and we spoke with him and sister Maria about business and scheduling. Very easy to get a hold of at all times via phone or email and always got back to us promptly. Brother Dennis was running the crew on Day 1 of the job and rip and new roof install was done in one day and the crew did a clean job. Day 2 was the install of the gutters. Afterwards I had a few punch list items - chipped shingles and one of the gutters was hung in a way that the ice shield was showing. So I called the company and on Day 3, their specialist Tony came out to repair and touch up. Tony is like me - a bit of perfectionist and he glued the shingles (they are the old asbestos kind) but told me if I didn't like how they set that I should call back and he would come and pop them out and put all new ones in. (The news ones wouldn't be asbestos though since they are no longer made and new ones would have to be painted to match the house.) I was happy enough with the glue job as I know the house could probably use all new siding. Repeatedly Tony and also Dennis told me that if I ever need anything down the road or something goes awry to call them as they stand behind their work and will come back at no charge. I wish they did bathrooms too as that is the next big job we have at our house and they were so easy to work with. We also recommended them to a neighbor who used them a few months later and had the same good experience.

It's clear these guys have a ton of experience at this, they sent a crew of 10 guys who worked together knowing exactly what to do in the most efficient way. No corners were cut, they replaced bad boards as needed. They did an excellent job of cleaning up making it look like they were never there. I would absolutely recommend A-1 to do your roof, I'm very happy with the result.

The job went very well, and A-1 Employees were very courteous, careful and did a great job. They cleaned up after themselves very well and removed all debris. The job got done much sooner than expected, as it was a relatively small job. That was a good thing. Their salesman Michael told me the job would be done with a 2 week period of me signing the proposal, but it got done in one or 2 days after me signing, it was a fill in job for them I imagine. The price was OK, considering I was going to do the job myself at first, so I know what the materials would cost. 3 men, 3 hours work, me happy: well worth it to me. There was a misunderstanding about the original work order, because I thought they were going to put the awning back up that came down in a storm. They then said they don't do that kind of work and I asked them to at least put some siding material on top of the exposed facia board above the window, for which they charged me an additional 160$. The gutter did not survive even one winter. The screen separated from the roof the gutters were then clogged with leaves. I have not tried to contact the company yet whether they would be willing to correct this damage.

They did a great job and only repaired what was needed. They didn't try to pad the bill at all. Prompt, courteous and trustworthy. We will use them again if we ever need a roofer.

I called A-1 Roofing and Siding because I had a leak in my bedroom ceiling. They came to the house a few days after I called to check the roof and determine the problem. They discovered that the wood decking under the shingles by the bedroom was rotten. They explained what was involved in fixing the roof, and they also checked the rest of the roof for any damaged wood or shingles. They told me the cost of the repair, and advised me that they would do the work within a week. The estimate was given on May 5th and the work was scheduled for May 8th. However since it rained, they came the next day on May 9th. Mario called to let me know he was on his way, and 30 minutes later, he arrived. He explained what he was going to do and then repaired the roof. All of the debris was cleaned up and taken away. Everyone I dealt with from A-1 Roofing and Siding, from my initial call to the completed work was pleasant, professional, and courteous. So far no leak, but to be honest, it hasn't rained very hard since the repair. I should also mention that when I called they were backlogged, because of the heavy rain that week, but they sent someone to the house and made the repair in a reasonable amount of time, which I appreciated. I would recommend them , and will use them again.

The quotation process was timely and professional, the service began exactly when John said it would. When the job was done & it was a big one you didn't even know they were ever there, I could not find even a nail in the grass -- SUPER CLEAN. Since then we have had A-1 do work at my office building, again the same great service!!
