Robison Oil

I have used them for years and have generally been happy, but currently i am having an issue with them and cant get a manager or supervisor to call me back. i can only seem to get a schedular or some other admin person on the phone and they will not transfer me to anyone, they just tell me they will make a note in my file for someone to call. . but no one does. i have emailed them directly including various emails and NOTHING.... NO CALL BACK I WOULD STAY AWAY OR GOOD LUCK GETTING SOMEONE TO HELP SOLVE OR EVEN DISCUSS YOUR PROBLEM.

I have been a Robison customer for 30 years. This Sunday morning we woke up and it was 17 degrees outside and the oil burner was not working. It would not reset. I call Robison service. Drew arrived within 45 minutes. I could not believe it. He immediately diagnosed the problem as a burned out control and replaced it with a modern computerized digital control which looks like the entertainment center on my car. While he was at it he cleaned the electrodes and made sure the system was working properly. I have a service contract with Robison so there was no charge for the service call or the (very expensive) part. This is a first class company that really does provide great service. They really are there when you need them.

I am the victim of a Bait-and-Switch Scam. BAIT: March 28, 2022, I engaged Robison Oil to replace two gas boilers and indirect water heaters (water storage tanks) with two new more efficient, gas, tankless, combi, condensing boilers Bosch Singular 5200 and Bosch Singular 4000; move the boiler location from the middle of the basement to the right side of basement mechanical room for $39,790.00. SWITCH: May 23, 2022, Robinson deviated from the contract and hung two Bosch Singular 5200 boilers in the new location and two, old, used, illegal, tank, electric water heaters in the original boiler location instead of installing one Singular 5200 boiler and one Singular 4000 boiler in the new location. Robinson did not connect the new boilers to the gas meter or do the work in the contract to complete the installation. Robinson did not have the plumbing or electrical work inspected by the department of building. SCAM: June 10, 2022, Robinson sent me an invoice followed by an email falsely claiming that the installation of the boilers was completed and per the contract the balance of $19,895.00 was due. Robinson intended to rob me of $39,790.00 when they demanded payment for work that was not completed. Robinson robed me of $19,895 when they took my deposit and did not complete the work. We have No Heat and No Hot Water 10/29/23.

Excellent work -professional, neat . But presented me with a Rolls Royce alternative product when perhaps a Chevrolet would have been sufficient

Work was fine. Worker was fine. The deal / agreement was unclear. Company DID agree to my understanding of the deal. Price was high!

very efficient and the faucet unit was replaced within 20 minutes.

The employees were very professional and spent the time two point out a couple of issues with regards to dust spots. I will definitely uses them again.

Everyone from Robison that I dealt with was courteous, professional and friendly. The crew that replaced my heating and air conditioning system went out of their way to minimize the impact of the work on our daily lives. They removed all of the debris created by the job and left the place immaculate. I would not hesitate to use Robison again, or to recommend them to friends and family.

Paid for their A/C premium service and maintenance plan in April. They didn’t come out until June 14th to clean/inspect the unit. It wasn’t working, they recommended a leak test that of course wasn’t covered. Cost me 480 dollars to tell me there was a Freon leak and I needed a new unit, which they weren't able to provide until after the summer. With an impending heat wave, I went with another company which installed a new A/C in 4 days from the day I made the call. If they came out sooner to look at the unit I could have made maybe have had a chance to fix the leak before I used it. Although I lucked out with the second company, making a expensive decision with a looming heat wave was what I was trying to avoid in the first place when I paid for the maintenance contract. Additionally, I gave my card info for an automatic charge for oil delivery but they made a mistake with the numbers and sent me angry credit notices. Disappointing all around. Wound up paying $800 to find out my A/C doesn’t work. Have a oil contract with them but after that's done going to go with someone else. Very, very disorganized.

Ducts were not cleaned well bu they did give a full credit back

This is the first time we have had our ducts cleaned. Robison scheduled us quickly and the man who did our cleaning was punctual and courteous. He did a good job cleaning the ducts - they don't look furry anymore! I would do it more often if the price were more reasonable. The only downside, I wasn't expecting there to be so much dust in the air during the cleaning.

Performed comprehensive energy inspection. Provided us with a list of 20 recommended things to do. Two people came, which was better than expected. Fee was reasonable. Would recommend their services. On negative side, they did not have thermal imaging camera to view for poor insulation in walls; nor did they perform negative-pressure air leak study. But, I would expect fee would then have been higher.
