Simplicio Souza was fantastic, he was very knowledgeable about how to fix our fence while also very courteous and had an attention to detail in the finished work. Overall, we found a new handy man and would definitely recommend him to others.

Mr, Souza did a beautiful job fixing the bricks and skates on the patio for my mom and dad. He even power washed the patio after all the repairs were done, and my parents are just delighted with the way it all looks! We are very satisfied and will call on Mr. Souza again, because he and his team do excellent work, are punctual, knowledgeable, friendly and professional.

It went  very well.  He came with his son, they called first and were very punctual.  I had one minor issue regarding an area of sanding/painting left incomplete, but he called me back right away. He returned to  my home on a mutually agreed upon day and time, (again promptly), and finished the job without any requests for more money than the cost of the original job.

They did an excellent job.  I had had some recessed lights removed and was left with holes in the ceiling.  Also, the room hadn't been painted in many years and there was a lot of repair work that needed to be done. The bulk of the cost went to the repair work which is why the cost may seem high. They also changed some door trim and baseboards and the cost of the materials is included in the price.  The finished job is beautiful. The ceiling repairs are invisible. I cannot see any trace of a patch. Mr. Souza is very accommodating and easy to work with.

The finished work was very good.  I provided a liquid cement color to be added to the grout which I had left over from a previous job. The mason used that and matched the new area to the rest of the stone work that did not need to be redone. I was very happy with the job.

When the work was done he tried to charge me for 5.5 hours when he was only here for 2.2 hours. He wanted to charge me for his son when I did not know he was even coming. He tried to trick me. I called Angie's List to see who I should pay the remaining hours to because the handyman did not know. So I had to call him back to my home to get his money because he had left.

He went go the home depot to pur chase parts to do the job.used excessive amount of time to accomplish this task. ! Then charged me an extra $100, because he exceeded the 2hours spe ified in the deal.

As I told them, they worked very professionally and quickly.  They were creative with the slightly different materials needed for the different jobs.  I'm very pleased with the way my apartment now looks and feels!

I had an old broken brick walkway that they torn down and rebuilt. Not it is smooth, even, and looks great. They even installed several brick steps for me.

I had a great experience with Mr. Souza and would recommend him highly to anyone who needs carpentry done in their home. He did excellent work, was punctual and did what he said. In fact, he found some problems that we had missed at the initial estimate and he did them as well. He takes pride in his work and his workmanship is excellent. He was very neat and clean. He gave me a fair price.
I asked my roofer for an excellent carpenter and I was not disappointed. Mr. Souza does high quality work and I will use him again when needed.
