I checked Angies list and selected Ryan Electric because of the excellent references it had. I called and spoke immediately with Matt and we set an appointment within the week. Although he was about 30 minutes late to the appointment, he did tell me why and it seemed legitimate. He went right to work and diagnosed the situation. After about 20 - 30 minutes, he told me the good news and the bad news. The good news was that the box wasn't unsafe but it did need to be re-done to meet code standards. The bad news was that he did not have the parts he needed to complete the job. We set another appointment about a week later and he told me he would only charge for one service call which I thought was fair. He was right on time for the second appointment and again went right to work. He was done in 45- 50 minutes and I was very pleased with his work. Matt was both personable and professional. I would recommend him and Ryan Electric to anyone.
Description of Work: Matt Davis re-wired and cleaned up my breaker box. The wiring had been jury-rigged and the cover left off by a remodeler who is someone I won't work with again. Matt said it wasn't unsafe but it would never pass code. To me it was also very unsightly.
