Whispering Pine Landscaping & Fertilization

We are quite displeased with Whispering Pines. We contracted them for the entire 2014-2015 snowplowing season paying in advance, but he only showed up twice and both times quite late after my wife had already left for work. Then he completely vanished for over a month and through three major snowstorms, forcing us to hire someone else. This was very difficult and expensive that late in the year.... I had to pay a full season price to someone else to finish out the season. To make matters worse, Whispering Pines destroyed our driveway on his first plow of the season by having the plow blade too low. This pushed literally tons of gravel onto our grass in huge piles. He promised to clean this up in the spring in writing over email, but never did anything. I offered to accept simply a partial refund from him for not completing the snowplowing season and he never responded. I asked several times if he would clean up the huge piles of gravel in my yard, he never responded. I haven't heard from him in months and at this point, other than legal action which we are considering, writing this review appears to be our only recourse. Never showed up. Refused to give us back payment for fertilization services after we told him we were no longer interested in using his services at all due to never showing up, lawn overgrown and weedy. Always had an excuse why he couldn't be there. Always a death in the family or some other emergency.
I had an and quot;unconditional satisfaction guaranteeand quot; but that did not include firing him and hiring someone else. Did not want him on my property.

Over priced and did not listen to what I really wanted done with my yard. Didn't cut weepers I wanted cut (I don't think they had the equipment), never lowered price because they didn't cut weepers. Cut an evergreen I specifically told owner to leave alone. Underestimated mulch required and weeds grew back within weeks. Had to hire The Girls and More to redo yard, and they did exactly what I wanted.

They do excellent work. They are responsible. They are also punctual and respectful.
