Merry Maids of Pleasantville

After only two visits, last week, the housecleaning crew did not show up for our scheduled appointment.  We sent an email to the company later that day, and no one replied.  We called the office the next morning and got a lame excuse stating that our crew came to the house and were turned away which was a lie.  We expressed concern about the lie, however Merry Maids didn't seem concerned - they actually thought WE were lying.  I emailed them back this week and canceled all future appointments leaving a phone number in case they wanted to discuss the matter further.  They emailed me back stating they canceled all future appointments with seemingly no concern for the situation.  Poor management.

After the initial cleaning, each visit got progressively worse.  You know the point when someone enters your home and you can tell that they just don't care (putting it politely)?  Upon the last, and FINAL visit, the crew of two people came in and  completed the work in less than an hour and fifteen minutes: leaving cleaning products where ever they used them; leaving furniture in the middle of the room; not cleaning the kitchen cabinets - leaving stains and streaks; talking loudly on their cell phones; I could go on.   It got to the point that I felt compelled to point out the piles of dust that they had left in the baby's bedroom.  The response was that it was the mop and that's all they could do.  I cleaned up the dust myself with a swiffer.  
This was truly the worse experience we have ever had with a cleaning crew.  Incredibly rude and not welcome back in out home!  In the past fifteen year, we have had helpers that were like family.  Not with this company....sorry to say!

They were reliable and easy to contact. I was satisfied with the service.

I HAVE BEEN VERY HAPPY WITH THEM AND HAVE RECOMMENDED THEM TO FRIENDS. THE PEOPLE ARE MOSTLY HISPANIC WOMEN. THEY ARE HIGHER PRICED THAN WHAT SOME OF MY FRIENDS PAY.

TWO OR THREE LADIES WILL COME AND ZIP RIGHT THROUGH IT. THE REASON WE HAVE BEEN HIRING THEM FOR AT LEAST THE LAST 5 YEARS, IS BECAUSE IT WAS A CHRISTMAS PRESENT, SO WE DID NOT HAVE TO CLEAN THE BATHROOMS ON OUR OWN. WE KNOW THERE IS COMPETITION OUT THERE, BUT WHEN YOU KNOW YOU HAVE A GOOD COMPANY YOU STICK WITH IT.

IT HAS BEEN GOOD. I HAVE USED THEM FOR SEVERAL YEARS. I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS. THEY CAME TO CLEAN AND DID IT ALL. I WOULD COME HOME, AND EVERYTHING WOULD BE IN ORDER. I WOULD BE HAPPY.
