ESSENTIAL POWER SYSTEMS

I was very satisfied with my first experience using EPS. Before I called them I did some research on Angies List and on the Generac website. They had excellent reviews so I called them to come and repair my Generac generator. I suspected the starter motor was bad and that was a job I didnt want to tackle myself. The company was very pleasant to work with on the phone for scheduling. On the day of the appointment they provided multiple updates on the ETA of the technician. The technician, Billy, was very knowledgeable and proceeded to diagnose and fix the issue. I was pleased that they had the necessary part on hand. He completed the repair in good time and at reasonable cost. Along the way he provided expert advice on some general maintenance for the generator. I would definitely recommend them to others and reuse them in the future.

EPS is simply the best company out there for standby generators. (I've dealt with quite a few) They are honest, hardworking people who understand the importance of customer service. Call them first and save yourself some aggravation! Everyone was so friendly and helpful-they really care about what they do-and it shows. The office staff is excellent and they answer and return calls promptly. The techs were friendly and answered all my questions. I am so impressed with them, and feel that they will be there promptly if I have any issues.

Work was done on schedule and cost committed. Crew was very professional, did a quality job and cleaned up well.

I'm happy I I found Essential Power.  They removed my anxieties about getting a generator.  At the first visit I received a written contract with the price which was what I paid.  They answered all my questions and were very clear.   Scheduled the appointment within the time frame they promised.  Showed up on time and completed the job in a little more than 4 hours and were cheerful despite 90 degree heat.  My experience with them was and continues to be completely positive.

EPS is fantastic! Nice, honest people who do good work. What more is there to say? They service 2 generators for us and we had them do some electrical work in the house as well. They did what they were supposed to. Their prices are laid out up front. No surprises. I wish we could find a plumber like them!

Provider was upfront with all pricing, gave us a written contract at the time of the estimate, and provided the appropriate form for capital improvement tax compliance thereby saving me sales tax.  Workers came on time and were very pleasant and knowledgeable.  Installer provided the generator and transfer switch.  Provider suggested a local propane tank/ fuel supplier which we wound up using after getting several estimates.  We got estimates from one other Generac approved installer and two other electricians.  We got estimates from several propane companies for the underground tank with or without them digging the hole for the tank and estimates from two excavators.  After considering all options, the decision to choose Essential Power Systems was easy.  They were easy to work with and provided no hassles for us and worked well with the tank installer.  We would highly recommend using EPS.

We researched the best standbye generator we could find for our home in Hopewell Jct. When we decided on Generac I went to their website and found EPS was one of their top suppliers and installers in the area. We had another quote that was a tad lower in price but did not feel they had as much experience with the product and installation that Michael Gromwaldt owner of EPS Essential Power systems. The Friday they came to install Mike even came with his crew and worked along with them. Now we have no worrys of outages like in the past.If the power goes out my generator will just kicK IN
VERY VERY HAPPY

Essential Power installed an emergency generator. They took care of most of the details. Installation took most of the day, but they tried to work around my work needs (I work from home and had to close shop when the electricity was off). Their electrician was particularly thoughtful and professional. When I had trouble with the building department, Barbara took care of it for me.

They were excellent.  The price was in the ballpark.  I liked everything about them.  I liked the service.  They showed up when they were supposed to and they arranged everything with the gas company.  They just were perfect.  I would recommend them to anybody.  They were recommended to me and they were just great with everything.

Great.  MIke did the following:
   ordered everything,  delivered everything,  contacted Crown Gas and made all the necessary arrangements. They did all the digging for the gas line.  Great job of cleanup..
Overall you cnan't go wrong with Mike and Essential Power Systems.

      Gas tank (two 120 gal tanks which in purchased) /Installation and tanks filled=$2,400
       Note: You do not have to purchase the tanks. If you own the tanks you can get your gas from any dealer..
                  If you lease the tanks then you must purchase the gas from that company.

They are complete professionals. They are very responsive and do a complete job and know the business inside out. It’s a family run business and they have a spotless reputation. Their success has been based on word of mouth recommendations.

Mike, the owner of EPS analysed the job. It required additional piping. His crew arrived when they said they would. They worked in a competent and professional manner. Their estimate of the time it would take to complete the job was accurate. After the installation was complete, Mike and his crew reviewed certain safety procedures and answered all my questions. The job site was swept clean. ESP is an excellent organization which I would recommend without qualification.

They set it up, and tested it.  They took care of everything. They're extremely reputable. They're very honorable, and do exactly what they say they're going to do.  If  you call them, they call you back.   They also show up exactly when they say they will.

We had an issue, and they came in right away to make sure everything was handled properly.  Their price is very fair.  They don't' try and sell you things you don't need.

We had very high ceilings, and had lights go out, and my husband doesn't have a ladder tall enough to reach them.  We asked them if they had a ladder that would reach the lights,  which had nothing to do with the generator, and installed the light bulbs for us.   It was just really nice.

They're follow up, they're tremendously busy, they will always get back to you and take care of everything.  I recommend them to everybody.

We initially first met with Mike G. of Essential Power Systems back in the fall of 2010 when we were shopping around for a generator and some basic electrical upgrades. We were very impressed with his punctuality, his estimate and his rapport that we ordered a Generac generator through him. The installation process went very smoothly since his company took care of all the paperwork for us (securing permits - all we had to do was sign the permit for our town and they sent it in) and coordinating with the various utilities for the actual install itself. Mike stayed on the job to make sure the actual install of the generator was perfect and did a little troubleshooting when there was a little leak. It was fixed and we were in business for the next power outage. At the same time, Mike and his assistant did some electrical work in our house such as upgrading our panel from 100 amp to 200 amp and replacing some electrical outlets. They were meticulous and cleaned up after themselves. You would not have known they were there - with the exception of the brand new generator!

We were so pleased with EPS that we called them less than a year later to re-route some circuits in our house and install dedicated outlets for our A/C units as well as replace some other outlets. Mike came out again to supervise the work with his assistant.

So this past spring, when we decided that we were tired to manually switching the lights on in the basement one by one, we called EPS to come out and wire the lights so that they all turn on with a flick of a switch. They also installed an outlet in our garage for our chest freezer and installed a power strip for our work bench which eliminated the use of extension cords.

We are very happy customers of EPS and will continue to use them for future electrical needs.
