The Annual Oil Burner Efficiency Tune Up went extremely well. The technician, ViCosta, was on-time and had a great attitude, explaining the aspects of preventative maintenance.

Petro gives a free service agreement to new customers. I agreed. Why would anyone pay high prices for oil and agree to pay $200 for a service agreement? No one would. After a year I cancelled. They called me and begged me to come back, once again offering me a free service agreement. I agreed. This went on for another couple of years. Then I decided to cancel for good and buy oil cheaper from a local company that offers discount oil on the internet. Petro decided to send me a bill for $200 and threaten to put me in collections. After I cleared it up with their Plainview, NY office, I keep getting threats from their corporate office. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau. If that does not work I will turn it over to my attorney. I will not sit for this type of harassment. I suggest you find a company that IS Not a corporate conglomerate.

Petro sells you a service contract that is absolutely worthless. They don't cover items that break. Company is constantly cancelling appointments. One appointment was from 8-12. They called me at 2 and said they couldn't make it. Company said definitely in 2 days and then cancelled that. Once my contract is up, i am done with them. Thinking of converting to gas.

They could not get the exact model we agreed on at the time of sale. The people that do the installation are outsourced. They people installed and and did not do the proper checks and left. We started getting water in our basement. We complained about that and they eventually fixed it after a few visits. They realized it was there fault so they took the hit on the additional parts. It is just stuff that customers should not have to go through.

There was an issue & they fixed it promptly. Cleaned furnace We've never had a problem with the service. We have a service contract with them. We have a service contract there was no charge. Very cordial, friendly service. They get their service technicians out asap,they get the work done they are neat. They clean up when they are done and don't leave a mess behind.

We have had them for many years now. I don't remember if they put the air conditioning in. I know that we have had them several years now every year to check the working order. That's all I remember. We have had them for several years. It's difficult for me to say what I would tell a friend or family member because I don't take care of those things you know. I know we have them. If somebody asks who do you have I would say that's who we have and we are satisfied, that's it.

It wasn't any cost. We have an ongoing service contract with them. It's an oil company, I wouldn't say it's competitive. You're going to find it's going to be that much of a difference. You'll buy oil from the same market. We've been using them since we've been in the house.

They're great. I'm on a contract with them. They've been fine. I've never had any problems. They deliver automatically and the billing is fine. I have no issues with them at all.

They deliver oil based on the weather. The deliver automatically. I call them when I want maintenance done. It's free maintenance, part of the contract.

They come out once a year. I have a contract to buy oil. They deliver the oil when I need  it, and service the unit.I think they have a decent price. It's hard to tell the price, it depends on the end of the season, either I have to pay them or they owe me. They come out when I need service. I don't have any problems. They're on time. They know what they're doing. If I have a problem, they fix it. Overall they're a small town company. They're one of the biggest on the East Coast.
