It's a monthly fee and monitoring. I't's a more advanced security. It's $45 a month. I had a positive experience.

The installer was ok. Its the company that stinks. If you go on automatic debit with your monthly monitoring, watch your statements because they double bill your account. If you need to get a hold of customer service you will be put on hold for 20 minutes. When they tell you that they will call you right back, don't hold your breath. That return call NEVER happens.

I think General Security is more expensive than their competitors, but the service is second to none, the quality of the untis are top notch, and the salesperson was very accomodating to any issues I had in the beginning.

What a pleasure it is to deal with this company. I have set off the alarm before and my phone immediately rings. It is them making sure I am okay and that my house is okay. They respond right away. There is no hesitation. They act and act fast. That is why I like this company. They take care of me.

THEY ARE A VERY GOOD COMPANY. WE HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE SYSTEM AND THEY FIXED IT WITH NO CHARGE BECAUSE IT WAS THE PHONE COMPANY'S FAULT. THEY ALSO MAKE IT VERY CONVENIENT TO GO OUT OF TOWN BECAUSE THEY ALLOW A TEMPORARY CONTACT PERSON TO HANDLE PROBLEMS.
