ALLIED PLUMBING & HEATING

I had a bad experience with them. I only had to pay the copay from my home warranty. They diagnosed a problem that I didn't have and told my insurance company.  They said it was my boiler and it turned out it was my hot water heater.  They had done this earlier in the year too.  It had caused my house to flood causing me to have to call another plumber.

I have used them for a long time and they were good on my last service. They came in, did not overcharge me, did the work and then they left. They did a very good job and I have had no issues since the work was completed.  

I only contacted Allied because they are the plumbing service provider for the home warranty company that I am subscribed to.  I was told that the plumber would be arriving between 11 and 1 the next day (Saturday)  to inspect the problem and provide an estimate.  He called about 12, said he'd be at my home in an hour, but when he still had not shown up by 2:00, I called and was informed only that he was "on the way."  He finally arrived at 2:30, and told me that I would receive a call on Monday letting me know if the work was covered under my warranty policy, and if not, what his company would charge me.  I had to call them on Monday, and was told by the receptionist that she would return my call soon, with the price.  She never called back.  I called them again late in the afternoon, and was told that they were "working on the price" and would call me back Tuesday around noon.  Again they did not call me, and when I called them, I was informed that the work would not be covered under the warranty,  but that she could provide me with the name of another company who could do the work.  I told them I didn't need it.I've filed a complaint with the warranty company, and hopefully the next time I need plumbing work done, they will refer me to a different company.
