Kate is a caring and talented woman, who offers at-home service with plenty of individualized attention to meet your needs. In the work I had done, she was able to use a beautiful antique frame that had suffered from neglect, restore it and repurpose it for another painting. She later came back and even hung it, as well as another picture. She is honest, fairly priced, willing to come to your home to provide full service and is a friendly person to work with. She's the first person I plan to call for future work and I highly recommend her

Kate does amazing museum quality framing at a reasonable price. Her expertise was invaluable  as she guided us through the process of preparing our item for display, We have had framing work don in the past but never felt catered to the way we did with Gallery 114. Whether you know exactly what you want in a finished product or need professional guidance to get you there, Kate will make sure you are satisfied with the result.

We called Gallery One Fourteen and asked if they would visit our Syracuse residence to replace a hanging wire and hardware on a oil painting that has been in our family for many years. Kate, the owner said she could be there with in the hour, she was very well informed, skilled and professional. Gallery One Fourteen offered an exceptional service that is so welcome but unusual today.

Kate did a great job framing an antique etching I purchased while in Venice , Italy. She took the time to work with me to select the perfect frame to complement the art.  The price was very reasonable for the high quality service provided and the project was completed sooner than anticipated. I will be back to have additional projects completed.

She reviewed the art and showed me choices of various frames. I put 50% of the price as a downpayment. She told when the work would be completed. It was completed on time and I paid the balance and took home my framed art.

Kate's attention to detail is excellent, as has been her enthusiasm for my various picture framing projects. She is warm and welcoming and whether a job is small or large, she gives the same concentration, interest and creativity. While going through the framing process selection, I had a chance to be creative myself and appreciated her knowledge, which helped me to experiment with my own taste so as to make the best choices.

I have been using Gallery 114 for ALL my framing projects since I moved to Syracuse and discovered her 3 years ago. I am a professional Interior Designer  and have requirements for all types of framing of artwork, photos, shadow boxes, bulletin/magnetic boards, etc. Kate has always provided me with exceptional quality with a focus on creating beautiful and creative pieces. Kate also takes special care of the pieces I bring to her which are often my clients precious and sentimental family pieces. She is very focused on what my project needs are and the budget requirements. I have also purchased many original and limited edition art pieces at amazing prices! What a great resource in this area!

I met with Kate Alibrandi to discuss my prints for framing.  She took great care to understand my style as well as the current decor of my house.  I relied on her expertise in selecting the colors of the mats as well as the frames.  Kate even came to my house to help me select the best place to hang each piece.  They look fabulous, everything I hoped for and more.  It took me a long time to find someone to take care of these prints the way they deserved.  I am thrilled with her expertise and am anxious to go back with another long time painting I have that needs special attention.  She was courteous and professional and updated me during the process.  The pieces were finished when she said they would be.  I highly recommend her.

I had inherited some pictures/paintings from my mother two years ago, and also had pictures that I had accumulated but not hung on my walls.  I wasn't sure what the best placement was for them.  I have a large finished basement that I use as a guest room, with large wall space - and I was intimidated by the prospect of arranging my artwork.  I called around, and was referred to Kate at Gallery One Fourteen.  She agreed to come to my house on a Saturday.  I'd never done anything like this before, so I was a little nervous.  But I didn't have to be.  Kate is awesome!  She recommended ahead of time that I cut out butcher paper to the sizes of my art work so we could use them to get ideas of how to place the pictures on the walls.  I did this, and it ended up being helpful when we were dealing with the large wall spaces in the basement.  Kate got me to think outside the box, and I ended up with a guest room that I love, and that draws a lot of compliments.  She also placed and re-placed artwork in my living/dining room and office.  I have vaulted ceilings, and she convinced me to hang a long oriental scroll from high up on the wall, as well as hang pictures over existing furniture - so your eye is drawn up when you enter the room.  It's an amazing transformation.  I am so glad I had Kate's help.  She is knowledgable and professional, as well as a lot of fun to work with.  I recently visited her gallery, and ended up buying two pictures that I fell in love with, partly because Kate had done such a lovely job of framing them.  I think her prices are very reasonable, and I will definitely use her whenever I need help with framing or placing my artwork.
