His price was lower than other bids I got. I know that we made a lot of concessions because he didn't't use all the GAF products; I think that was a big difference. Also, he charged less per sheet of plywood so I think the estimate for disposal was lower. He used similar products as other companies that I interviewed and I got good personal recommendations from other people who had hired him. That's why I went with him; he had good recommendations and his price was lower. He was prompt and responsive via phone and email. I got my proposal the same day he looked at my house. When I called him on the phone, he was quick to get back to me. I liked that he was local and his business is in my own community. I felt like he was honest and he did what he said he was going to do.

I called them to do an estimate for the roofing. They were good but I didn't choose them for whatever reason it might be. I will surely call Cameron Home Improvement Group Inc. in the future. We have put everything on an hold right now.

The experience was okay overall. The quality of the work that was done was fine, but they kept trying to sell me more things without telling me whether or not there was anything wrong. I had to insist that all I was interested in was the chimney cap. I would not recommend them.

I would recommend them! This happened unexpected, and they were fast with the work. Their price was reasonable, and I had gotten a few other quotes. The workers were respectful and friendly. They have also done other work for my Homeowner's Association.

Called. Responded in about a week. Diagnosed the problem. Made a number of repairs, and now we await the first big rain to verify.

The contractors replaced the skylights. They second skylight went in easier and looks better than the first. To install the flashing old shingles needed to be pulled off the roof. I'm still pulling them out of the bushes and my wifes car had two flats from nails. There have not been any leaks. They were responsive when I asked them to come back out to repair some torn shingles. It was cold so the shingles were hard to work with.

The job took about 2 days longer than quoted. Members of the crew showed up late or not at all. Our lawn was littered with cigarette butts and debris. The crew left our flowers destroyed and one bush damaged. A month after the new roof was completed our first leak appeared. We experienced extensive leaks in separate areas during the following year. Cameron was called and did return to our home promptly each time, supposedly "fixing" the roof and reporting things were fine. After a year of "fixes" and the same leaks reappearing, we hired a home inspector to perform a workmanship inspection. The inspector found flashing was not properly (or at all) installed, areas of the old roof remained, debris littered our attic, and he characterized Cameron s workmanship as possibly the WORST job he had seen. Cameron was not fixing the problems, but rather hiding them. Cameron denied there were problems with the roof. We ended up in small claims court and we were awarded the maximum amount.

We are very pleased with Dave Cameron's work.

Cameron Home Improvement did a good job, but a little pricey. He is able to do numerous things, so he's somewhat of a handyman. His work is good and we have no complaints.
