I asked for 3 different quotes. For two of them, one never got back to me with an estimate, one took three weeks to get a quote to me. Doug? He arrived on time for doing the estimated quote. He listened to exactly what I wanted done with the floor. He provided suggestions that would help the layout look better. Before he left, he calculated the exact cost to do the job and handed the quote to me right then. I was SO impressed. I knew then and there he had the job, even if the other two quotes were lower than his!! He gave me a date and time when he could start. On that day, he arrived right on time as scheduled. He also worked on a Saturday to finish the job. His work was impeccible and neat. You could see he paid attention to detail and cared about what he was doing for the customer. Doug was a true pleasure to work with . . . an easy going, respectful person. I would not hestiate to hire Doug again if I needed more updates done on my house. Anyone who hires Doug will be pleased with the outcome.

Doug was extremely flexible to work with. It was our choice to purchase the materials through him or to have them onsite for him to install.
Since this was our only bath/shower, he worked long hours to ensure we were without the use of the shower for as little time as possible.
Doug showed up on the weekend (with prior approval) to keep the job moving along.
I did receive 2 other quotes for this particular job, and Doug was not only the most professional contractor, he was also the most reasonable.
When the job finished, the bathroom exceeded our expectations and on top of that, the final bill was slightly lower than the original quote. Doug's thoroughness at the time of the estimate mitigated potential hidden costs later, that is always a plus.
If the need arises, I will not hesitate to call Doug first to bring his services to my house.

It took a little longer than he quoted but you know how it is, once you get into something you never know how it is going to come out. The house was built in 1932 so we knew we were going to run into things. He is a volunteer fireman. He got a call and had to leave here one day but he was very apologetic. It was surprisingly cheap.
