House: Mid 1800s farmhouse with a septic system Service: In addition to a general home inspection that I was having done, I brought in Bill to perform a detailed septic inspection. His primary work was to evaluate the septic pipes from the house, the condition of the septic tank, and quality of the leach field and dry well. As part of this effort Bill diagrammed the location and dimensions of the pipes, tank, and dry well. Bill verified this through a combination of digging around the septic tank and by using special cameras to trace the lines from the house to the tank. Throughout the process, Bill explained to us the purpose of each component and taught us how to maintain them going forward. Time to complete: approximately 2 hours Quality: Bill's service was excellent and his report is easy to understand. He let us view the preliminary report the day of the inspection and provided the final report to us within a week and a half Summary. I would recommend Bill for future septic inspections. His inspection was thorough and he took his time to walk through it with us. I did have to follow up with him via e-mail to get the final report but this was during the holidays so that slight delay was understandable. Bill sent the final report over immediately at that point.
