When I contacted them to discuss a time to do the work this spring it was like no time had passed. They remembered the job-and the price we had discussed and we set up the time. Once they were at the house they had the septic located within minutes. They uncovered the lid and we saw immediately that it was a good thing we made our plan-the 1000 gallon tank was nearly full to the top. After determining that everything in the house did in fact go to the one tank it was determined that there was a slight blockage...again-within minutes-they had found a faulty pipe and replaced it. The pipe was so rotten that it was amazing that anything was getting to the tank at all. Now here's the awesome part...at this point I had to leave for work and entrusted them with finishing the job. I had some anxiety about not being there while they were making a pit in the basement-as well as not knowing what state the yard would be left in when they were done.When I returned home I discovered what precise work they do. The pit in the basement was perfect and the mess that I had braced myself for was simply not there. The basement was cleaner than before they arrived. The yard was also perfect (obviously we will need to reseed the lawn in a couple of small sections, but the earth was all back in place). The line going out from the sump pit was exactly as we discussed and everything was completely neat and tidy.
The bill was the exact amount we discussed with no add ons for the broken pipe that was discovered.
Just thinking about the work that E. Cooper and Son did makes me incredibly happy. The experience and pride in work that they bring is beyond just about any contractors that I have ever worked with. I have 160 year old house-so I spend a lot of time with contractors. These guys are the best.

I was not pleased with them at all! They broke the top concrete cover. Over a week ago he said he would come back and fix it and he hasn't yet. I am not thrilled with them at all. They tried to cover it up so would not notice that they broke it too. That is not honest or professional.
