We have used Halco for all our heating and plumbing needs for the last 9 years. The quality of their people and their work is excellent. We have a service agreement and had our routine servicing done on our furnace in May, 2023. The technician, Bradley, did a great job. He noted our inducer motor was getting loud due to bearings go bad, we could hear it. He quoted us a price to replace it, we also talked to a Halco Rep to price a new furnace and a heat pump. We decided to replace the inducer motor. The whole Halco system is so efficient. We accepted the email quote and they scheduled an appointment right away. They always call before showing up and are very prompt. Bradley just replaced the inducer motor and it is so quiet now. Bradley is very friendly and professional. It's hard to find a company that has old time values, quality, professionalism, proper treatment of their customers. Halco has it all. We are very pleased with their service.

Halco is a wonderful company. They couldn't come when I called until the next day but lended me 2 space heaters to use when my furnace stopped working. Came the next day and fixed furnace . Very good service.

Halco did a great job. They were professional and explained each step of the process as it was a 2.5 day job. We knew it would be a messy job since it involved drilling concrete, but the team (especially Eric) was diligent and tidy throughout the entire process! We would use them again for sure!

This company is one of a very few that stands out in my (new) experience as a home owner. My initial contact was so positive, I didn't bother getting estimates from other companies. The rep was very knowledgeable, and super patient with my multitudes of questions. He responded to my emails quickly and clearly, and I never felt that proverbial "deer in the headlights" feeling so common with many new home owners. I can't say enough positives about him. There were a few snafus after we moved into the installation process, but once the company learned I was not happy with what happened - they fixed it. Immediately. I was actually blown away at their persistence to ensure I was happy with my new AC/heater/water heater. Just seems to be a rare thing these days - especially with contractors, etc. I love my central air. Absolutely love it. I don't expect to be any less happy with my heating system. And it is great knowing they service the units yearly, and comfort knowing they will be here if anything goes awry. I will definitely choose HALCO for my future heating, cooling, plumbing and insulation needs.

Avoid Halco Plumbing at all cost. Here is a list why.... 1. While repairing my sewer drain Gino broke my footer drain. He dismissed the broken pipe, buried the broken pipe and then when my basement flooded, Hal Smith denied responsibility because the footer drain was not marked. 2. Gino was supposed to leave my lawn as a rough grade. There were piles of brush, holes in the ground, and mounds of dirt. My husband and I spent 1/2 day "cleaning" it up. 3. Dan charged me a dispatch fee when I called him to come and problem solve the ground water in my basement. 4. Dan drilled open my sewer cap in the basement and left it. I called Halco back to replace the cap, because sewer gas was leaking into my basement. 5. Dan ran a snake down my basement floor drain and said I had a broken pipe at 2 feet. I then called Drain Brain and they were able to run a camera down the drain and out of my house a full 80 feet. If you choose to hire Halco, make sure you are home and have your camera ready to record everything. I did not, and my complaint at the BBB was not resolved in my favor.

The worker were very polite and friendly. The job was done quickly. They removed the fiberglass insulation and took it with them.

All projects were completed in a timely fashion with great skill. I have found the sales staff to be very helpful in coordinating projects. Weaving solar production into emergency power generation and successfully connecting all to the grid so that everything worked well was a particular demonstration of HALCO employee expertise. The results of plumbing and associated handyman projects exceeded my expectations.

In the summer of 2016, I bought a home (100+ yrs old) with gaping holes in the stone foundation, barn heaters on 2nd floor & mudroom and a furnace sitting in dirt that I was sure didn’t really work. Halco assessed the condition of my house, made recommendations and provided an estimate (including rebates). The cost was a real eye-opener, but everything was guaranteed. I was confident that they knew what they were doing, so I immediately went ahead with the entire proposal. Today, I can say I made the right decision. I now have a home that is energy (and financially) efficient, comfortable year-round and safe. All the proper permits were issued. Many thanks again to all the staff at Halco!

Home energy assessment was done for free since it's something being paid on everyone's National Grid bill and National Grid pays the company to do the job. Halco was very helpful in explaining and visually showing each individual energy concern I had with my home. I would encourage many others to do this assessment to be aware of hidden concerns that you can either address yourself or have Halco replace, repair or maintain whatever needs necessary. Had AC and Heat installed 8 years ago. They were expensive and young inexperienced kids put in plumbing, etc. Numerous problems since. They had us sign up for the maintenance Gold plan which was ok but is another money grab. Its hit or miss if you get a quality guy. Some even questioned the past persons work.

Wonderful. They're very good otherwise I wouldn't keep the contract with them. They go a step further and they really check the whole system to make sure that everything is going to work for you for future problems that may arise. They're always good at showing up. Punctuality is very good. The service people are just fantastic. They were the ones that when I called them they could come out right away because we were in dire straits. This is a few years back now, I forget how long ago. We called and they said that they'd be right here within an hour or two and they were here. Communication is very good.

I have them come in once a year. We have a contract with them and they come in once a year for free. The price is good. My maintenance fee is fantastic.

These guys were wonderful. They were extremely professional, and responsive. They were a pleasure to work with. I was especially impressed when a QC guy came out to inspect the work done about 3 weeks after they finished. Halco is a total pleasure to work with.
