Moravec Well Drilling

Learn from our 10 month nightmare and save yourself a headache! Last November (2018) Moravec’s drilled a 200 foot well at our new home, a $10,000.00 project that we split with the home’s seller. Moravec employees failed to apply a simple two foot barrier to protect our walkway. As a direct result of this failure, drill cuttings (similar to heavy grey clay) followed our decorative walkway, went into our garage, down the side of our home, and into our yard and ornamental pond. Well drilling is a messy business, but this nightmare was 100% preventable, which they’ve admitted multiple times. Drill cuttings, up to eight inches deep, are accumulated on our walkway, against our foundation, and splattered up our siding. As you can imagine, emails, phone calls, and in person visits ensued. BMI accepted responsibility, then denied responsibility, accepted responsibility again, and then denied responsibility again. They never showed up at the end of August and beginning of September when they finally scheduled to excavate the mess, so there was more back-and-forth. Our home is damaged.
