VEKTON CORP

Vecton put siding, insulation, and gutters on our house in Brighton this July 2020. We were totally pleased with the work. Tom helped us refine our choices, gave us a great price. Material shortages in the time of COVID prolonged the job, but they kept in communication with us. End result great, they dealt with minor issues that came up, would use them again.

The roofers were prompt and worked quickly. The foreman seemed very knowledgeable. But they unfortunately worked through one day of bitter cold and wind in April. In hindsight, maybe that was not a good idea, since the lightweight plastic sheaths from their roofing tile packages blew everywhere, including into the top of a tree, where that ugly one remains to this day. I did need to correct them on two issues which they initially got wrong, but then later fixed. I was satisfied with Vekton's work, UNTIL the summer rainstorms arrived, and I noticed my gutters overflowing. I then called in a professional gutter cleaner, who was extremely conscientious and worked hard for two hours. This professional said "I have never in all my life seen so much debris left behind from a roofing job." See the attached photos of the debris found in my gutters. (What ever happened to cleaning up after a job? I thought I was hiring the A-team.) I texted these photos to the company's administrative assistant 10 days ago, the same day the gutters were cleaned, but I have heard nothing back. Thus I am writing this review. I am not sure whether I would hire this company again.

I recently had my home resided with Vekton. It was a fantastic experience through and through. Tom and Maura went above and beyond at every stage of the process to make sure I was happy and pleased with the results. I can't say enough good things about Ron, Gordy, and the rest of the siding crew as well. They are hard working, incredibly respectful, and most importantly very good at what they do. I will definitely be recommending Vekton to any and all friends or family who are in the market for residing in the future.

Tom Dustman and his right hand lady, Maura, were the consummate professionals who said what they'd do and did what they said they would do. They finished the project ahead of time and the job was done beautifully. They checked in regularly to see how the project was proceeding and to make sure everything was going as planned. I would recommend Vekton to anyone looking to do any home improvement projects.

We were very impressed with the whole process from sales to scheduling to installation. They listened to our needs and concerns and responded accordingly. We found them accommodating and professional. The crew that did the installation showed great attention to detail and thoroughly explained what they were doing. We would not hesitate to use Vekton again.

From start to finish, working with Tom, Maura, Jeremy and Tim has been a treat! We have never had such a good experience having work done on our home. Tom was prompt and easy to talk to. No hard sales pitch. We later met and worked on details with Maura who was also prompt, professional and very pleasant to work with. In the end it was Jeremy and Tim who came to our home every day to do the work. They were very professional, accommodating and fun! They were more than willing to stop what they were doing to talk about questions we had. We would recommend Vekton to anyone considering work on their home.

Excellent work. I had over a dozen estimates on this job and Vekton was my first choice. Tom Dustman himself met with me and gave the estimate. He was professional and easy to work with. The siding was installed earlier than scheduled. Everyone showed up when they said that they would, and the job was finished on time. Maura managed the project from the office and was always available to answer questions. I'm thrilled with the way my home looks.

I was very pleased with the services and work performed. All the personnel were skilled and professional. They always protected the property around the worksite and kept the areas neat and clean at the end of the day. The company was very accommodating regarding plan changes and work add-ons.

Per usual Roy Gordon came and worked with us on designing what we were going to undertake, and provided invaluable insights and assistance in getting to what we wanted (as opposed to what we thought originally) and bringing the costs of accomplishing it more nearly in line with our budgeted amount.  Per usual Tom SIms and his guys arrived on time, did great work, cleaned up nicely, and were generally extremely pleasant to work with.  Greatly experienced, huge expertise, work done on schedule, and as promised - it can be no better.  This is the fourth project Vekton has done for us, and as with all the others we are very, very happy with the results.  We will utilize them again, when the need arises.

I would NOT recommend them. I asked the salesman if he would take American Express and he said he didn't so I thought I might have to use another credit card. When payment time came, he told me they don't take credit cards at all. He just kept lying and saying that he made that clear. He didn't even ask me if I wanted a financer. I was upset and I could have gone with the other company who accepted credit cards. Other than that, the gentleman who did the work was really good and he did a nice job on the garage. I would never use their services again.

They did a great job.  We were very happy with them.  They were just fast and they did it efficiently.  They were very nice.  The price was pretty reasonable.  They were very much responsive to our questions and we talked to the owner.  They were punctual and professional.

The owner came by and provided us a quote, with they were in the middle of the people we received quotes from but were always professional and listened to what we wanted. They provided siding samples and a place to look at the stone with the siding. The Office, worker and foreman were all very professional and took great care not to destroy anything around our house. They finished on time and the house now looks great. I would recommend them to any body since they do listen to what you want and not what is best for them.

The work at my home was started on time and I was very satisfied with the end result. The quality of the work was good and their staff paid attention to details. I was especially pleased that I had a complete quote from Tom on the day of his initial visit and did not have to wait weeks for it to arrive by mail.

I was not pleased with this company's roofing work, and I do not recommend their services.

Did a professional job and were timely and tide.  Cost is about in the middle range for vinyl windows, but we feel the value was good for the window.  Would definately recommend them... already have to several people.

Vekton did what they said they would do and at the price they quoted.

They were supposed to replace plywood and re roof our home.
The roof leaked when they got done.they stepped through rotten wood and tar paper and shingled over it.

Roy (one of the owners of Vekton) came to the house the first night and spent two hours talking with us and actually drew up the plans right there (they were very professionally done). The one issue that we had was that it took a bit longer for them to start the job. But once they started it, they stayed with it until it was finished. We were responsible for purchasing the tub-toilet-vanity-floor-mirror-tile-wall light-ceiling light-shower and sink fixtures,.Overall everything was going good until they took the tub out of the box and it was cracked (we purchased this). The contractor (Tom) called me and then he took the tub back to the store for us and picked up a new one. The next issue was the vanity. We have a small hallway (22" wide) and when it was time to turn the vanity into the door, there wasn't enough room. None of us had even thought of this issue. Tom ended up finding a vanity that was not put together yet and then put it together in the bathroom. It will not come back out in one piece....Tom was very good about these issues that we had.

Overall we are very satisfied with the work done by Vekton. I know that some people don't like the fact that it was contracted out but Tom is one of Roy's regular contractors and we had no issues with the work that was done.
