I would probably use them for another job. They were excellent and my experience with them was very positive. I really wanted to go with them but they only worked with the bricks which was why I did not go with them as I really wanted the pavers. I get a lot of weather wear in the coping area and that would cause a problem. So, I wanted something more durable like the bricks. I am going to call them for the coping area work and I am definitely going to use them. Their estimate for coping was $450 to $490 and for the sidewalk it was $2000 which was in the ballpark with the other companies. I have not used them yet. They came out, gave me an estimate and then followed up. I am going with another person to do the job. Usually, I get frustrated and give up on the project but the reason that I am going with him is that he is my friend's husband. I know that I am taking a chance but it is a personal thing otherwise, I would have gone with the other people as they were very good. I feel like I have to give him a chance.

Communication was slow, they never returned my last message.  I received one follow-up and after returning their call, twice, never heard from them again.  Too bad for them, I was going to have them begin the project.

Overall the job went fine. Quality of work was good, price paid was good.

We needed some quick work done to satisfy home inspection findings for a house sale. Mi-Kar responded quickly, scheduled the work, called ahead to confirm, showed up on time, performed a quality job, and stayed within the price estimate.

Mike provided an estimate the day after I called him. He was very professional while providing the estimate. He fully explained what needed to be done and provided a detailed estimate. His estimate was $2000 less than the other estimate I got. We had a few problems establishing an actual start date for the project. Mike had hand surgery which delayed the start. However, once he started, he and his crew were punctual and efficient. They removed the old floor the first day. The second day they graded and sealed the inside wall. The third day the new floor was poured. The fourth day, they cut expansion joints and cleaned the site. The next day, Mike applied sealer to the floor.

They were very good in what they told us they were going to do. They came in, took care of the problem within a couple of days and we were very pleased with the work they did.

Mi-Kar Construction does very high quality concrete work. The driveway looks terrific. I would definitely hire them again.
