Called difference places in mid May and Metro-Are was able to fit me in within a week vs. 6+ weeks out. Their technician, Steve, was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He answered my questions and told me how to maintain my central a/c system properly. He noticed that my condenser were missing brass schraeder caps for the valves that the original installer, Res-Com's technicians, failed to provide or noticed during their complimentary annual maintenance so he gave them to me free of charge. Lesson, don't let original installer self-police themselves! Metro-Aire charges a fair and reasonable rate. Unlike others, they do NOT charge for travel time to you. Highly recommended company!

The heating system stopped working on the first floor of our home yesterday. We called John after finding him on Angie's List, and he called us back within the hour and came to look at our issue 60 minutes later. John determined it was a frozen pipe after he checked our equipment. Unfortunately, there was nothing he could do at the time to help us. However, we were happy that he was able to tell us nothing was wrong with our boiler, etc. We had to pay for John's visit to the home but that is certainly expected. What we really liked is that even though John couldn't fix our issue last night, he offered us a great solution to keep the pipes from freezing in the future. We're going to call him and ask him to come back and do that work for us.

The service tech was on time, very courteous and generally professional. He was reasonably quick, and responsive to my sometimes detailed questions. Seemed knowledgeable and proficient.

I THOUGHT THEY WERE VERY GOOD BUT ALSO QUITE EXPENSIVE. THEY WERE VERY GOOD BECAUSE THEY WERE RESPONSIVE AT A TIME WHEN A LOT OF PEOPLE WERE TRYING TO GET SERVICE. OTHERS TURNED US DOWN, BUT I KNOW I PAID 200 DOLLARS OVER A MORE LOCAL FIRM.

THEY ARE PRETTY FAIR IN PRICE, AND THEY DO PRETTY GOOD WORK FOR THE MOST PART. HEY HAVE DONE WHAT THEY HAVE PROMISED TO DO AND KEPT MY HEATING SYSTEM IN GOOD REPAIR. THEY LACK A LITTLE IN RESPONSIVENESS, BUT THEY MAKE UP FOR IT IN OTHER AREAS.
