Excellent work. Mauricio and his partner came in and tackled the job 1...2...3... Their work was clean and they used minimal cutting which made it very easy to seal up with spackle/sheetrocking.

I knew I needed to get a new circuit board because the old one kept blowing out. Antonio Ferrao sent his truck over within hours of my call and his men inspected my old circuit board and showed me the problem circuit breakers and even the discolored area around one which was heating up. They gave me a quote with 10% off if I could pay cash. I hired them. They came the next day, and kindly kept my generator on so I could have electricity while they shut off the main line to change the circuit board. They were fast, efficient, labeled all the new circuit breakers, and cleaned up completely. I would recommend them to anyone.

Very good experience. We needed a 200’ length of buried conduit installed between our breaker panel in the garage and a motorized front gate on the driveway. The electricians arrived on schedule, did a neat, professional job and left the work area spotless - no packaging or offcuts were left behind. Very happy with the result. Recommended.

Contractor and client provided light fixtures installed in various locations. Some openings needed to be made to access wiring. The openings were resealed, but more rework will be needed at a later date.

I just want it on the record that Antonio not only beat my expectations on a job well done, it was actually a job greatly done! But his quote never changed. As we all know, when it comes to finding pros that stick to their promises, they are far and few between. Ferrao Electric is one of those finds! I highly recommend them. They could have charged me double and I would not have been the wiser, since the project was beyond my understanding. Even after doing a web search, their price was below what others would have charged. Antonio is that rare find, an honest business man! Pleasant and involved in all aspects of job. The installer was a little heavy handed but it went well.

Antonio's team were professional and did great work in installing an outlet in my garage. They were creative in figuring out how to run the wires from our basement to the garage with minimal impact to the house and walls. The results were unobtrusive, could barely notice where the lines are and the outlet is working great. Antonio is very patient and responsive to my questions, as I am very new to this. Would recommend and would rehire again for future jobs.

Carlos was amazing. Professional, extremely skilled and went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. Left the rooms clean and stacked up all the old equipment neatly in the garage. Arrived on schedule and completed jobs in less time than was estimated. Couldn’t be happier.

Work was professionally done , but technician, Pedro, had told me he'd be at my house between 8:15 and noon, but didn't arrive until after 1PM. When he finally arrived he said he'd been on another job which took longer that he anticipated. Wish he'd thought to call me as I had all kinds of errands to run.

The electrician initially replaced the dimmer with a color that did not match the face plate, so he went to Home Depot to get the right color. I appreciated the extra effort to get the color to match.

Antonio's team (Fernando and Pedro) are awesome!  They are friendly, clean, polite, meticulous and efficient.  They completed all of that work in just two days.  His price was fair as well!  These guys know what they are doing and I won't hesitate to use them again.  They are busy, so responsiveness by phone/email can be delayed.  However, once they are onsite working on the job, they are focused on the job.  The rooms without lighting and the baseboard heating installation required quite a bit of snaking of wire across rooms and around the house.  They kept apologizing for making cuts in the ceiling -- the reality is that they are highly skilled and made very minor cuts to get the job done.

I have to start this off by saying NEW HOMEOWNERS BE AWARE and check on Angie's List BEFORE you hire ANYONE to work on your home.  My husband found Antonio Ferrao Electric by doing a search for electricians near Westchester, NY.  He called Antonio and explained that we just bought our first home.  It was built in 1950 and the inspector during the sale of the house suggested we upgrade the electrical service to 200AMP as we were planning to put in a new furnace and an AC system which did not currently exist in the home.  He was quoted a price of $1700.00 over the phone during the first phone call.  We then asked if we needed to pull permits with the city, contact CON ED etc. and he said absolutely not, he would take care of all of that.  The upgrade was scheduled for the morning of October 20th at 8:30 AM.  Antonio did not show up, he sent 2 other men (hopefully electricians) to do the job.  Upon observing that our meter box was on a pole with wire running to the house the electrician called Antonio who spoke to my husband on the phone explaining to him that given the set up of the house the upgrade would require a new switchbox which would cost an additional $550.00.  At this point we just wanted the work done, approved the extra money and the electrician left the job to go to the electrical supply store to pick up the equipment.  Upon "completion" of the job the electrician called Antonio who again spoke to my husband.  He directed us to please make payment in full, check written out to CASH and give it directly to the electrician as he "owed him some money".  My husband asked for a receipt as well as a business card.  The electrician had blanks in the truck.  He filled one out and was on his way.  The business card and his site both say that he is a member of the BBB specializing in service upgrades.
A bit later we had some small electrical work done. Our electrician asked us why our upgrade service was not complete.  It turns out that Antonio Ferrao faked the upgrade service!  200 AMP breaker box in the house, 200 AMP switch on the pole - the wire from the poll entering our house was the old fabric wire.  On top of that the work he did do was not grounded correctly.  He put my house in danger!  I was shocked.  I called the town where we lived - no permit pulled or inspection scheduled, I called CON ED, nothing on record.  I called Antonio who kept fielding his calls.  When I finally got through he began to scream at me asking me what did I expect for $2250?  I said I expected an electrical service upgrade.  He then started yelling that he does not "trench".  As a new homeowner I had no idea what he was talking about.  I trusted him to upgrade our service from 100 AMP to 200AMP.  The price was never an issue.  If he asked for $5000 initially to do it correctly we would have been fine with that! He told me to find someone to trench the yard and for an ADDITIONAL $2000 he would finish the job.  
Such a disappointment.  We trusted that as a licensed electrician with the BBB that specializes in upgrades would have done the upgrade properly.  The cost was never an issue.  Please do yourself a favor.  Check Angie's List, Get your electrician to write a proposal that you understand and agree to and make sure you are comfortable with the work done.  It is your safety, your house, your investment.
