The problem occurred on New Year's Eve, and Clarkstown professionally explained that the service rate would be higher around the holidays if it was not an emergency to call back. I think most places would not have said anything. I waited the additional day and a technician came up to repair a broken fan starter.

The installer Clayton Taylor was a very nice man who explained everything from start to finish. They arrived early and performed the work as quickly as possible without sacrificing quality services. They were friendly and very knowledgeable. The put down drop cloths to keep the area clean and also cleaned up afterwards so there was no mess in my house. My air conditioning is working great and I couldn't be happier with the service they provided.

I recently noticed the heat in my house was not turing on. This was at about 10pm, and I have a small baby at home. No other companies I called were either avaliable to come service my boiler immediately, or even pick up the phone. Clarkstown HVAC asked me for a few details about the problems I was experiencing and told me a technician would be by shortly. After a little over an hour, Randy arrived at my house. He was very friendly (even though it was almost midnight) and got right to work. Randy also took great care to be quite while in the house as to not wake the sleeping baby (what was more impressive is that the dog wasn't woken up either!). In about 30 minutes Randy found that one of the wires going to my boiler was frayed and thus why I had no heat. All things considered I think Randy and Clarkstown did a phenomenal job under these emergency circumstances. The price was very reasonable as well. I am a new homeowner and Clarkstown HVAC just got a customer for life.

We are not under a contract or anything. We just have them come in and check. They have done it on and off for the last 20 years. I have not have any regular repairs or anything. It is not every year. It is just when we decide to do it. I don't know anything about air conditioning systems. They seem to be really good and they have a good reputation. I keep going back to the because I would not know where else to go. I have never gotten other referrals. The other thing is the professionalism. They are very polite. They are very professional. They are very customer oriented.

They were ontime, professional, very clean.  They left no residue whatsoever. They put in an excellent machine.  I couldn't be more pleased.

They visit on a yearly basis to change filters.  This visit was for a heating issue.  They came in about a month after I had used someone else.  They were very precise about what the problem was.  I was suspicious about the material that was used in the first one and sure enough a couple of those item were bad and even though it cost me more I was very confident that at the end of the day, and by the end of day he worked close to 5 or 6 hours, I felt confident that everything was precisely done and professionally done.  I was confident I was not going to have a problem going forward.  I can't complain about anything they did.  They said they were going to be in at a specific time and a particular day, what I felt was going to be just an hour and half, two hours turned into a very long job and I haven't had a similar incident that he was originally called on, haven't had one since. They pinpointed what the problem was, did it, did it professionally.  I have no complaints about the price either.

I think they did an excellent job. They did a perfect job, we didn’t have any problems with their repair work. They were quick to come to repair because it was an emergency. They were here right away and fixed it. I don’t remember having a complaint about the cost. My husband & I weren’t like, “Oh my god, that’s too much!” I don’t remember what it was, but it wasn't astronomical. If my husband didn’t complain about the price, then it was okay. I told my husband we should start using them, even for preventive work.

Very professional and thorough service and repair. The serviceman isolated the issue down to a faulty fan control and had a replacement in his truck. Then entire service was about 3 hours, $120 flat fee for the service and around $300 for the replacement part. The office was also very helpful as this problem occurred on a holiday. They explained that the service would cost more and I could wait a couple of days, it would save me money. I feel that other companies would not tell you this and simply charge you.

Technician was very knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. He explained everything in simple terms and did a wonderful job. Clarkstown Heating and Air responded to our message through Angie's List within a few hours and came the same day!!! Their prices were great and they were easy to work with. We even purchased their one year service agreement for our Heater, Air Conditioner, and Boiler.

It was excellent, that's why I kept calling them back. Their pricing was comparable to the company I had been using before them. The other company had arranged to come out and they canceled on me for what I didn't consider a good reason. I had taken a day off work. That's why I went to them. They're always punctual. It was very good. They did everything they needed to do, replaced the filters and everything and checked over, it was excellent. Just the fact that they came out when they said, their punctuality stood out.

I've had them for years. I have a contract. They're excellent. They're comparable to average for the area on pricing. Their quality is excellent. They're always on time. I've always been very satisfied with their work, they did a new air conditioner, a new furnace, they put my generator in. So, I've always been satisfied with their work. They come immediately whenever I have a problem. The workers are very good, very friendly and very professional. They're just prompt and professional and they don't mind me trailing around asking questions.

2 complete ac package units installed with new line sets and all parts .Work was done very well and servicemen were very polite and cleaned up after work was complete.He also answered any questions I had.Price was very fair from other quotes I received.Company also gave me a free service call on one of my units to keep me cool until new units were installed. Complete turn around time was very good. Once again, I would recommend this company highly. Thanks to Clayton and Danny,for a great install.

The service was excellent. I had a small issue and they delt with it promptly the quality of work, professionalism and costomer service exceeded way above my expectations. Excellent company.

Well, first Michael Levin came to my home and gave me three estimates and recommended one of them. I agreed with him because of his expertise. A few days later the installation manager John Paturzo arrived at my home and added a few things for convenience and safety with no extra cost to me. About two or three days later Larry and Andy promptly arrived at the designated time. I am a craftsman myself and had not one complaint. I would recommend this contractor to my mother is she also needed a furnace(if she was still alive of course) I can only say that my experience was a PLEASANT one.

They are great. They originally installed all the original equipment in our house and they installed new equipment that was more efficient so they are the ones we always call. They are always on time. The people that come to do the work do it well. We've never had any problems in the 17 or 18 years that we've used them. We have no complaints about them. We can't compare their prices because we've never used anybody else.
