"I am sorry to hear that your were not 100% satisfied. I followed up with Mr. [Member Name Removed] by phone, and he stated that he got an email and breezed through the review as it was the first one he has ever done. We only charged him $109 for a service call and he declined the refrigerant leak search we recommended. Mr. [Member Name Removed] admitted that he declined the steps toward repair that our technician recommended. I do not see what we could have done differently to get an A rating. We certainly tried our best to offer solutions to find and repair his refrigerant leak which is a 3 step process. T.J. Pastore President"
Something has happend to this company and they now don't seem to give a **** about their customers. I called over a week ago as our AC unit is not working. I wanted service the same day (as I've gotten in the past) but was told they couldn't come out until June 8 at the earliest. That date wasn't good for me so we set it for June 9, 2016 for a morning appointment (8AM to 1PM). I asked them to come as early as possible as I had to leave the house for a trip in the afternoon. Long story short, by 10:30 they hadn't arrived so I called. I was told they were still coming but no estimate could be given of when. By Noon they still hadn't arrived so I called again. Still no eta. I asked why since I had asked for an early appointment. The scheduler replied that I didn't say "first call" when I called so I was put into the rotation with all their other appointments. I guess I am suppose to know their jargon. So then I'm told that all five of their techs were still on their first calls. I guess they take 4 hours plus on each call. To make matters worse, I was told they might not even get to me by 1PM! I couldn't wait as I had to leave by 1:30 so I told them not to bother coming.
I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. I can't convey here how much they angered me.
"Dear [Member name removed], My deepest apologies on your most recent experience with our company. The [Member Information Removed] heat wave of the air conditioning season is a great challenge for any Air Conditioning company. When the [Member Information Removed] hot day hits companies typically have a 1-2 week wait time. It was like that 40 years ago, and the same holds true now. We do give priority to our Service Agreement customers and always make it to their homes the same day that they call. You have been a long time patron, but you do not have a Service Agreement. Missing an appointment window is certainly not the norm for us. Occasionally the tech that was assigned to you can be held up on the previous call. This is why it is difficult for us to give an ETA like you requested. It sounds as if that is what happened. We do have certain policies in place when scheduling to avoid error and miscommunication. We do not have an "early as possible", morning appointment. Our morning appointments are as you stated from 8:00-1:00. We have 4 appointment windows available. [Member Information Removed] 8:00-9:00, Morning 8:00-1:00, Afternoon 1:00-5:00, or After 3:00. Adhering to these windows that have been in place for decades now help us to eliminate scheduling issues. This may seem like jargon to you, but it is a system that has always aided us and our customers to get on the same page. Please don't take my response as an excuse, but typically if we have an unhappy customer there are some extenuating circumstances. Regardless, you had an expectation that was not met. I am sorry that we inconvenienced you, and we are fully accountable. If you would like to discuss the matter further and if there is anything I can do to make this situation right, let me know. Please call me as I would like to make it up to you. Regards, T.J. Pastore"
