Superior Design Plumbing

I used Superior thru my home warranty company AHS. They had to repair a garage pipe that busted and were on time for the appointment. The work was done quickly and have yet to use the pipe because of the cold weather. Hopefully there are no issues in the future with the repaired pipe.

I was happy with the service and they did good work.

They were great. I liked them very much. They are very professional, courteous, and punctual. I would use them again.

Company was called in to check on water heater leak, and check source of bad smell in sump area. We purchased American Home Shield (AHS) insurance for appliances and some systems when we purchased our condo in June, 2012 and this company was the plumbing firm that AHS uses for our area. Plumber called an hour after he was scheduled to be in to say that his van had a breakdown and had to reschedule. Never showed up for rescheduled appt., and after two days of not responding to our calls AHS called the company and finally got them to call us. We had had heavy rain storms in the area and they were busy with emergencies but a quick call to explain would've been good. They said that the problem was the pressure relief valve so they replaced it, didn't look into odor issue. Expansion tank also had to be replaced, not covered, not their fault. Unit was leaking again two days later. Plumber replaced the tank again (no charge), again didn't look into odor issue. Expansion tank leaked again two days after that. Plumber came, tracked grass and dirt onto new carpets going downstairs. He was on the phone to the office trying to figure out what was wrong, and decided that the pressure reducing valve (reduces water pressure coming in from street) was the problem, had to special-order it. Since we had been desperately unhappy with the people AHC had sent to repair our furnace, we had brought in another company to fix their work, and when I found out that this new company also had plumbers, I decided to cut our losses and have their plumber come in and fix the water heater problem. This can also be considered to be a report on AHS... we'll file a separat report on them.

Price matched estimate exactly. Crew was punctual, responsible and professional. Although it was not cheap, we appreciated the way these guys did business. The sewer is running fine now and the concrete work was first-rate.

The plumber came within an hour. To clean the sewer pipe, he has to remove the old toilet in my basement. So I asked him if instead of putting the old toilet back, can he put another new toilet I already have back. He agreed for addition $50 to put the new toilet for me. However, after all works done. He asked me a $320 check for clean the sewer pipe make payable to the company and addition $175 cash for the him privately...for putting the new toilet back for me.....and he even told me do not mention this to the company, otherwise the cost will be higher Two things I did not happy with this service: First, I don't think it is fair for me to pay the company and the plumber seperately. If I knew this I would not let him do the additional job for me. Second, the plumber rise the additional cost from $50 to $175 without letting me know.
