ROGERS TRAVEL AGENCY

After all the planning we did and all the double checking with our agent (Marta, Rogers Travel) our rooms were NOT close to each other as requested.  We paid more than $1,000  for a 'suite'  with a separate room attached for my mother-in-law, it consisted of a curtain that was drawn between the bed and the sofa - not at all private, and the sofa was not even as wide as a twin bed and very uncomfortable.  Marta even went so far as to blame the problems on my mother-in-law, saying she should have researched it more thoroughly!  That was why we used an agent in the first place, for her expertise!  We booked over six months in advace so there would be no surprises. After numerous phone calls to Marta at Rogers (over $70 in phone calls), and the 'middle-man' agency (Travel Impressions), promises to switch rooms were continually ignored. We offered to pay for the upgrade, no response. First we were told the resort was fully booked, even though there were two empty rooms in my complex.  The name of the manager at Travel Impressions kept changing, and every time Rogers or Travel Impressions said they spoke to the 'manager' at the resort - the resort said they had never received a request.  After the third day, Travel Impressions said we could have a separate room for the last two days and quoted us a price.  We called Marta at Rogers to confirm the next day's change of room, and to give our credit card info to pay and she said "Oh, you still want to do that?"  Needless to say, the management at the resort, never got the call from Marta (Rogers) or Travel Impressions.  There was NEVER a call made for a room - they keep stringing us along all week.  While we have NO complaints with the resort, Marta is a LIAR - we will never use Rogers again, and I would advise anyone NOT to use them or Travel Impressions.  Travelocit gives better customer service that Marta Perez Salonious.
