Paul Barylski Land Surveying

I emailed Paul on a Wednesday indicating that i needed a fence line staked between my property and my inlaws who live next door because they are moving.I also advised that i had an updated survey from 1995. He telephoned me within and hour and told me he could do the job this Saturday afternoon and would be here in the afternoon.He asked me to fax the survey to him and I did.He told me it would cost between $300-350. Saturday came and he knocked on the door at around Noon time. He said he and his helper would have it done in an hour. I explained in detail the necessity for an accurate property line due to the fact i have a pool and the house next door in on the market. He assured me the line will be acurate to 3 inches on my 70 X250' property. The cost would be $300. The job was complete with 6 Stakes securly planted on the line in a little over an hour. I took a tape measure and compared the distance from my house to the line as compared to the paper survey I had..It was dead on. Initially I was concerned because i didnt have a written contract with him. It wasn't needed, and i found out later, most surveyors I called didn't have a written contract for a fence line. I suppose if i needed a written survey for the purpose of purchasing of a home, a written contract would be advised.
