Lowe's - Patchogue

The kitchen looks beautiful and I did not have to return a single cabinet which was wonderful.

Low’s vs Home Depot
Home Depot is 5 minutes drive while Lowe’s in Patchogue, so, naturally, I only used Home Depot, until I start noticing there is different. Here are two examples:
Example I: There was a serious ant offensive in the house, which required a serious fight. Went to Home Depot, bought EVERYTHING they had against ants – with no success. Went then to Lowe’s, also bought everything they had, and now ants gone… Its 3 years now, they didn’t come back…. I don’t know what was it, but it was strong…
Example II: needed several carpets, looked in both stores, and picked the Lowe’s ones.
Have many more examples, but I think the point is clear: while Home Depot is OK, Lowe’s is GOOD.
I still mostly go to Home Depot, but usually when a higher-quality something required, its somehow ends in Lowe’s

We had to repaint our patio and I get 5% discount on my visa card for any purchase in Lowe's. We didn't spend much and my son had underestimated how many cans of spray paint he needed and I also bough pruning shoe for clearing stuff. We don't contract with them but buy stuff from there. My experience was good. They carry higher grade of products. They are very willing to help us when we go there. They are set up nicely. They give us tips. They are clean. It is a pleasant experience to shop there. The price is comparable. The price is fair. We do have a choice of the price range that we want to spend. We get my emails from them. We have Lowe's card and that is a very nice feature as they keep track of all our purchases and what color paint we got. If we do forgot what color we used they do have a record as it is computerized. The quality is not the best but good for the price. It is of good value. There is always somebody and they go out of their way to help us. They are very helpful and we don't have any problems if we have to return. When we got the units while we renovated the bathroom it was a sink and two slightly lower cabinets with one on each side of the vanity and we had to go to three different stores because when they order that they don't figure in the fact that if they order 80 they send them to different stores. If you don't want this piece but other piece we can't get it in that store because they send it to other store and we ended up going to three different stores to get all the pieces to do the bathroom. They need to have what they are advertizing that they have. It has to be with the buyer and if you have something on display you need to have all of the units available in that store and people shouldn't have to be going to three different stores to get it.
