Blinds To Go Inc

Buyer beware!!! I filed a complaint with the BBB Better Business Bureau for Blinds To Go. Blinds To Go did not reply. I have a receipt showing Line 30: Kitchen sink size of 31 ½” x 35”. I received a size of 33 1⁄2'' x 35”. When I first called about the size Blind To Go told me they have a document at the office with my signature on it for the received size. Okay, why was that receipt/paperwork not given to me as my final receipt to check the sizes one last time. I did check all my sizes and made a change to the living room window based on the receipt/paperwork I was given. I guess when you're the judge and jury there's no accountability why bother replying. Shameful, unprofessional business practices. Buyer beware!!!

They were very good and quick. They didn’t leave a mess. Their prices were excellent. They could almost do it the next day for me. It was their own factory and they make it there. I would definitely use them again if I needed them.

I placed an order with Blinds To Go at their outlet in Patchogue, Suffolk County, New York, for a simple roller bind with a valance.  The blind was to be installed by the customer.

A package arrived from the manufacturer's plant in New Jersey.  There were no instructions included, and no warranty for the product.  I called the store where I placed the order [Patchogue, NY].  They told me to go to the internet to find installation instruction.  I tried and printed instructions which involved roller shades, but the photos of the brackets were completely different from the brackets sent by the factory.  So I drove back to the store in Patchogue again.  They printed a set of instructions which they said "should work" and sent me home again.  The instructions they gave me illustrated how to install the valance onto certain brackets, but the brackets which were included in the order sent were considerable too small for the valance.  So I drove back to Blinds To Go in Patchogue for a 4th time with everything and said I was very disgusted with the incompetence of Blinds To Go.  The local staff at the Patchogue sales room said I should call the national Customer Service to complain.  No, I said I wanted a refund of my $167.  The local staff said that she couldn't authorize a refund.   She said that maybe she could find some brackets "that might work in the back room."  I said I'd had enough and wanted my money back.  She refused again.  I left the erroneously made blind with them, asking for a credit to my visa account, but they refused to refund the money.   This is one of the most unpleasant experiences I have had with youthful, indifferent staff who's attitude was "it's not my problem".  They just could not have cared less that the product was defective.  I urge everyone to avoid that store.
