Richard, the company's owner, did an excellent job for me refitting doors on an antique Chinese cabinet so that they would open properly for a wide screen television. Given that the cabinet was at least 100 years old, I was concerned about potential, irreparable damage, but his work was great and the price was quite reasonable. At the same time, Richard also repaired an antique sofa whose wood trim had become loose. A couple of years ago, when he was working with a company whose owner has since retired and whose business he has assumed, Richard replaced a beam on my bedroom ceiling that had come loose. He and his former boss did a beautiful job and made other improvements on my molding that I had not requested but that they saw they could fix. I was happy they did.
I will note that while, Richard may be sometimes tough to pin down to schedule, he is a stickler for detail and aims to do the highest quality work.
