*I have no confidence in the work performed & will have to hire another electrician to review the work.

*I had to manage the electrical worker through each item in order to get him out of my house.  This was a very scary situation. 

*I paid the bill be get the electrical worker out of my house as I feared that he might become erratic if the issues noted were brought to his or the offices attention. 

*No matter your emergency, DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY AS THEY DO NOT PROVIDE YOU WITH LICENCED ELECTRICIANS, THEY OVERRCHARGE, THEIR ELECTICAL WORKERS DO NOT CARRY ENOUGH SUPPLIES TO DO A JOB, THEY ARE IRRSPONSIBLE AND COMPLETELY UNPROFSSIONAL. 

A man from this company Jos. Weinstein arrived at about 1PM.    He spent a great deal of time staring at the wiring for the door locking and intercom system which is in a closet next to the front door.    He left after an hour to "get some parts" but returned with nothing and continued to mess around with the wiring in the closet until 4PM when my husband went out to ask when he'd be done.   At that point we discovered the doorbells, which had functioned before this "electrician" arrived, were no longer working.
Once again he "went out for parts", but this time he didn't return.   Ten minutes after he left, a woman from Weinstein called saying this man was out in my hall demanding payment (for what?, destroying my system?).  He was not in our hall.   I explained what we had experienced and she said she would send someone else over but after several hours, no one arrived.    I went to your webpage and found a great electrician, Leader Electric, who fixed everything quickly.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE...... uses non-licensed, non-union subcontractors who are not reliable or honest!! Job estimated to last 2 weeks ran over 21/2 months. When I called the office to inquire why workmen had not shown up for work, rudely told that they didn't know but would get back to me, never happened. This occurred several times, work crew not showing up, going on vacation, leaving horrible messes, main office responding like they had no control or care! 220 service never connected and NONE of other contracted work currently working properly and must be redone. Ended up going to court currently on Angie's List looking for another contractor to redo job!!

They confirmed an appointment the day before and no one ever showed up or called.if i hadn't called numerous times (which went through their answering service) i would never have know they were not coming.  they saif "they couldn't  reach" their tech.  they rescheudled for the following day and AGAIN did not how up or call.  i called numerous times and was told that some one was "on their way" would be there in less than an hour, "they were stuck in traffic", were "just around the corner" and still no one showed up or called. and they stopped ansering their phone.
Shockingly bad service and just flat out lying!!

Rich was nice, showed up on time, followed up with estimate.  Estimate came in 45% higher, approximately $1,200 more than the company I hired and which did a great job.

Joseph Weinstein Electric Corp. did a good job upgrading the thermostats, replacing the faulty electric socket and installing new phone jacks.

Nightmare.

THIS COMPANY IS VERY EXPENSIVE. THEY WERE ONLY AT MY HOUSE FOR ABOUT AN HOUR AND CHARGED ME $500 FOR A COUPLE OF LIGHT SWITCHES. I FOUND THEM IN THE YELLOW PAGES BUT WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE BECAUSE OF THEIR PRICES.

In scheduling them, I said what the problem was, the electrician arrived and asked if I had ANY electrical equipment for him to do the work (all he had were his hands)! They never notified me I needed to provide the supplies, and since they were already there I had to pay for them, and the time they spent at the store to get the supplies they could have told me over the phone to get. I have never heard of an electrician coming unprepared without the box. Especially since I told them I needed the box. I paid a lot of money on sight and then they called the next day to say the electrician had calculated wrong, and I owed them around $60 more!

I THOUGHT THAT THEY DID A REALLY GOOD JOB. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL WITH THEIR WORK. THE PRICE WAS VERY FAIR. THEY WERE VERY RESPECTFUL IN MY HOME. THEY WERE ALSO VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE.
