Rob took on a job that he wasn't qualified for which was the remodeling of an 11x11 Kitchen in a bungalow which he decided to do alone except for the demo and the tiles. The hours stated on this site that he works from 8:00 to 4:00 need to be modified from 12:00 to 5:00. The very first day he was supposed to be at the house at 8:00 to start the work with the other guys and my phone call woke him up and he was in a bad mood the rest of the day because I asked him if I woke him up. The work did not come out as expected. He took too long which was 8 months for an 8-week job, ruins brand new materials for the cabinets specifically the moldings in the fascias by smearing them with caulking then trying to get the caulking off which room to finish. The molding miter joints were wrong and a 12-year-old and a short shop class could have cut better miter joints using a miter box. He tried doctoring up his mistakes with primer which did not match our cabinet finishes. As time went on he got more and more resentful because he had to keep coming to our house despite the fact we advised him to get other contractors in to help him which he refused to do. Towards what he considered the end of the job I advised him that the messed up moldings needed to be corrected since there was a small balance on the job that still had to be paid. He facetiously claimed he would come back and take a look and see what I was talking about even though when he we had discussed this twice before and he gave me fake answers and lies about how it would be corrected. Telling him to get a third party into correct his mistakes was too much for him so he screamed and cursed me out over the phone after we had treated him courteously in our house gave him parking in the backyard and offered him coffee. He responded by using our bathroom 10 to 11 times in a 5-hour period and not washing his hands when he came out. Would I recommend his services not if I had a gun to my head. Right now he has complaints to the Better Business Bureau which he has not responded to as well as the Suffolk County consumers a fast Commission which he also has not responded to. In addition to his other courtesies he put two liens on my house with fictitious and exaggerated amounts thinking that he was going to put me in the position to beg to pay him his balance back without getting him to fix the work. This person does not belong doing work and other people's houses and the mess ups that he made are very basic things that any beginner wouldn't even make. It is better that people know who he is and that he does not show up at 8:00 or does not even get up at 8:00 in the morning but texted me at 10:30 saying he was on his way over then would show up at 12:15 and 12:30. I believe this should cover most of what he did besides installing plumbing that he was not licensed to do some of which is questionable. H i r e this person at your own risk we now have the task of having to order brand new moldings faces and Crown moldings for our brand new cabinets which were supposed to go in seamlessly as I have seen in other houses. I have the advantage of being a New York City Construction superintendent as well as a New York state engineer and New York state license home inspector. I will be happy to respond to anybody who wants the question this review. It is unfortunate that somebody can come into a house and then become resentful that he didn't charge the people twice as much as he originally agreed to but surprised them at the end with a fictitious lien. We are not finished with him yet since he now faces legal action.

From the very beginning he found the problem and he offered me a solutions and this was exactly what he said the problem was. When he ran the new wire the problem disappeared. He was very good, very professional, and precise.

Rob was super-responsive, flexible with the terms, and a pleasure to work with. Most importantly, the work was top-notch. I highly recommend hiring Rob if you're looking for a quality electrician and a job done right.

My experience with Robert was very pleasant. He showed up on time, did a complete assessment of the project, then informed me as to what issues were and what the project would entail. Asked for my permission to continue and he was professional, thorough, left no messes when done and it was a seamless experience, came in, did the job. I would highly recommend them! Rob discovered a real problem in the electric system. If he has not found the issue it could have amounted to something quick serious in the neighborhood. He is thorough and he prevented a big problem on the road.
