Miguel was on time, conscientious, and did great work. They didn't nickel-and-dime, and it seemed like a very reasonable price compared to other contractors. I was very happy and would hire Rivertowns again for roofing work, and would recommend them to others without reservation.

They contacted me immediately and showed up promptly this same day to give a quote. Job was done the following morning. Very pleased with the results,

STAY AWAY FOR BIG PROJECTS!!! I hired Miguel of Rivertowns Roofing and Siding for two projects. The first was to replace a small section of the cedar shingles on the exterior of my house. He did a good job on that project. I then asked Miguel if he was qualified to paint the exterior of my house. He said he was, but in fact, he was not qualified. That job was a DISASTER for the following reasons: 1) Miguel agreed to a price to paint the entire exterior but when he came to start the job he was not happy with the agreed price and said it only included a portion of the exterior. 2) Miguel said that the job would take 1 and 1/2 weeks. However, he refused to bring any co-workers, so the job took SIX WEEKS. 3) When Miguel saw the job was taking longer than he wanted because he would not bring any help, he started to cut corners. For example, he did not give a large part of my house a separate primer coat, as he said he would when he agreed to the price. 4) Miguel was very moody and very rude and curt with me for absolutely no reason. 5) Miguel spent a large amount of time talking on the phone while painting the house. 6) On the last day, at the end of the day, I asked Miguel to paint an area that was 2 feet wide by 1 foot high. He refused and yelled the painting is finished, no more! In short, for any project more than a day or two, find a different contractor.

Following the nor’easter I contacted Rivertown roofing. I received a call back within an hour and was able to schedule an estimate first thing the next morning. In addition to Rivertown, I contacted the local roofer utilized by most people in my neighborhood as well as one other company. I received a variety of estimates and feedback regarding the nature of the work that needed to be completed in order to replace the roof shingles that had been blown off of my 20-year-old roof during the windstorm. Recommendations included replacing the entire roof for up to $30,000.?? As I was under a time constraint to repair the damage before the next storm, each company offered different solutions. One company indicated they would come and put a tarp over the damage for $750 until they could either repair the roof. Rivertown came the next day and completed the job at one third the price of any of the other estimates. But it is not just the price. After I hired Rivertown, the owner, Miguel, made a second trip to my home that evening in order to get a shingle so he could find a match for the job the next day. He squeezed my job in after completing another job.....he said he didn’t want to disappoint his other customer either. The job was completed, the shingles he selected match perfectly, he cleaned up the entire area and was as nice as could be. I wii definitely use him when I need to fully replace my roof and I would recommend him 100% to anyone

MIQUEL was a pleasure, his team replaced a bunch of shingles on my roof and explained what the original ones flew off the roof to begin with. My roof has a very very high pitch and I think Miguel's pricing was more than fair for the job I would definitely use them again.
