We found Bruce and his team on Angie?s List and called for an estimate. From the moment we met him we knew we would be in good hands and boy, did we make the right decision! Bruce is very personable and easy to work with, and has great vision. One of the challenges was whether would be able to fit a double sink, and Bruce was great in helping us see how much it would add to our bathroom but without being pushy, all the while being very understanding with our financial decisions. Together we spent a few weeks testing different configurations until he found one that we were all happy with. Once the work started they were great, even when the demolition of our 1932 plaster walls proved to be more than they bargained for. In the middle of our construction we had family situation arise and they were great in understanding and we were able to pause work for a few days without much delay in the end. They were very clean and took care to make sure that everything was tidy at the end of the day. At Bruce?s suggestion we worked with Gina at Terra Tile, who was also fabulous. The tile work is amazing, real craftsmanship, and everything else has come together smoothly. Bruce is a great communicator, between the phone calls, emails and texts we always felt that we knew where things stood when we left the house each day for work. He responded to each of our questions, no matter how small, and really educated us throughout this process. I can?t rave more about how thrilled we are with our new master bathroom and our decision to use Bruce and Quaker Road Associates. We will definitely be calling on them in the future for our other bathroom and possibly our kitchen someday!

Bruce and his team did a fantastic job--they were extremely responsive and timely, gave great advice based on what we were looking for and never tried to oversell us (either on scope of work/services or materials). They were reliable, neat, very flexible and very easy to work with. The price was very competitive. The quality of the workmanship was top notch! Highly recommend them.

I was recommended to use Quaker Road by my architect. He's used this company in the past, and felt the quality of work they do far surpasses anything by most local contractors. After speaking with the owner of the company and seeing some of the jobs he's completed...both published in magazines and in person, I felt it was the right contractor to work with. The work started in August 08, and completed on time (2 months) and on budget. I will definitely use them again.

Bruce's team, made up mostly of "old world craftsmen" makes the experience really special. You feel like you are going back in time in terms of quality and dedication to craft. Pricing was a bit above our least expensive bid but experience was just great. Also, excellent follow up whenever we had a question or needed something adjusted (which was not frequent and always done quickly and happily). Having cabinets built exactly to our spec and in a local shop made the experience special and our resulting kitchen and family room personalized to how we live and cook.
