We liked Jane and appreciated the work she did with a difficult elderly client in early stages of cognition issues, but we ended up spending almost as much for the move advisor as the actual movers.  Her hourly rates plus 10% "administrative fee" plus travel time added up.   We picked Jane because she came across as more flexible  when others seemed to be too "take-charge" which wouldn't have worked well with a stubborn defensive "I have to do it myself" client prone to getting overwhelmed by change.  Unfortunately we ended up feeling we paid a high price for a helper who wasn't as effective at some details as we had hoped.  The good news, the move happened as scheduled, and Jane made the process less traumatic than otherwise would have happened.  Conclusion - elderly moves can be very difficult situations even with good helpers, and there is never enough time for planning and preparation, and the work to establish a new home is never easy.
Response from Moving-On
"I'm sorry - yet surprised - to read this reviewer's assessment of my work. It would have made all the difference if he had expressed his reservations to me during the course of the job. This review is the first indication I have had of his dissatisfaction. In his own words, this was a "difficult" job with a "stubborn client." The reviewer himself did not get involved until the very end of the job, by which point I had been receiving direction and comments (often contradictory) from up to 6 people at a time. Moving-On had our client moved into her new home, unpacked and resettled, with her former house cleaned-out, all on schedule and on budget. And most satisfying of all, our client got with the spirit and moved forward in this process without the difficult behavior I had been warned to expect. I consider this job a hard won and an all around victory."
