I have used and recommended Gopher Express many times. They are the only call I make when I need to move. Most recently, they moved the contents of my fathers condo into storage and then from storage to an apartment 6 months later. They are professional and respond timely to phone calls and emails. The team 4/5 guys showed up on time and were very careful (nothing ever broken in transit or lost). The guys are hard working and courteous and the move took less time /money than the estimate.

The night before they were to arrive, Peter (one of the owners) called to apologize and say they'd be a bit later than originally scheduled. To compensate he would increase the team size from 2 to 3. The later delivery was actually not a problem for me and I appreciated the extra person. They arrived promptly and placed moving blankets on our new hardwood floors to protect them.
They were polite and affable as well as competent. I was shocked at their demeanor--not at all what I expected from a moving crew. They knew what they were doing and were exceptionally considerate as well.
The job took less time than originally proposed, so, instead of costing $500, they only charged $350. I have already been recommending them to friends and colleagues. If we ever need movers again, they will be our only call.

Response to my initial phone call and email were very prompt, as was all other communication. Peter was very easy to work with and accommodating. I will definitely use his service again and refer to anyone in need!

Professional, courteous, careful, fast, cost came in UNDER estimate (how often does THAT happen?). I can't say enough about these guys. They made it look so easy.

Gopher Express movers arrived on time. They made my move stress free and fast. They helped pack, move and unpack in a very organized fashion. They were very careful with my breakable items as I have some valuable furniture, art work and knick knacks.

I had a few heavy pieces of furniture to move to an upstairs bedroom and others to go to garage. I called Gopher on Wednesday and they gave me a next day appointment. Employees showed up on time with moving blankets, plastic wrap, etc. and were very careful and efficient. Pleasant to work with and fair priced.

Gopher Express was a pleasure to deal with from the start...though they did not have a ton of competition...

We began by calling three moving companies about a month before our desired move date. One highly rated company said they wouldn't be able to get someone to look at my apartment for over a week, and they didn't want to come after 5:00 (on a weekday). On top of that, they were mostly booked up around the time that I was looking to move and they wouldn't reserve the date. I said to the person on the phone, and quot;So I'm going to have to wait 10 days to get someone to look at my stuff and give me an estimate, but in the meantime someone else can go ahead and book the day that I'm looking to move?and quot; I thought it was crazy so I passed.

Another highly rated company did not pick up my phone calls, answer my voice mails, or respond to my emails. Not sure what the deal was with that.

Gopher Express on the other hand was the opposite. They were polite and professional on the phone. The owner of the company (Peter) came to my apartment the very next day (after 5:00 so I didn't need to leave work early). He gave me what I considered to be a reasonable and competitive quote and we accepted on the spot.

Peter called me a day or two in advance of the move to ensure everything was good to go. His workers (4) showed up exactly on time and the move was extremely efficient. Nothing was broken in transit. Once we got to the house they made sure every box and piece of furniture was exactly where we wanted it. When everything was unloaded they even asked if there was anything else that we needed to move around before they left. The guys were all hard workers and very courteous. The total move time ended up being right around the original estimate, which was much appreciated since we were paying by the hour.

Our experience with Gopher Express was a very positive one and we would definitely use them again.

Their pricing was very fair -- right in line with all local competition -- and their level of service, care and attention to detail were top-notch. Should the need arise, we would definitely work with Gopher again.

These guys are amazing! Punctual, polite, cheerful, and really good at what they do. Not only do they hard, they also work smart, saving time and thus $$. Even in the face of adversity (3 flights of stairs) they maintained a wonderful attitude throughout the job and hustled the whole day. I REALLY hate moving, but Gopher Express made it painless. I hope to never move again, but if I do, I'll make the move with Gopher Express.

They were terrific. They did everything they said they would do. They were on time. Nothing was broken. It was all done professionally. They call me back, when I have questions. The pricing was reasonable.

Peter was very patient and helpful answering all our questions. He answered repeated phone calls. Phil was pleasant and let us help with the move which made it go quickly.

Peter came out for an estimate after I called and detailed what would be done. On the day of the move 3 guys showed up right on time and starting loading items, wrapping furniture and other items first. The best thing was they included the use of 4 wardrobe cartons for the move which solved my only dilemma of moving my closets with ease and no extra charges. Most other stuff I had already boxed beforehand. Everything was loaded in about an hour and a half and they drove it up to my new place where they unloaded in about an hour. The guys were careful and efficient. Nothing was broken or messed up. They were done in 3 hours. Also, I had just lost my checkbook the other day and they were understanding about getting the payment a day later.

First meeting was quick, informative, and Peter was intelligent and responsive. Returned my calls, on time for meeting and on time for the move. Estimate was accurate (higher than final cost, actually), work was quick, professional, efficient and careful. I would absolutely use this company again, and am relieved to have found them after using other companies that were awful!!
