From the time we first called, the company was prompt and responsive. From the office manager saying I'll call you back in ten minutes - and doing it to the owner saying I'll be there at 8am - and meaning it.
A fair price for the job and the job well done. Everything was cleaner than when they started.

AI first contacted them after getting tired of paying Robison's prices for heating oil. The last straw with Robison was when they sent a technician to fix a problem with the furnace who didn't know what he was doing. I will pay premium prices if I get good service for something essential like heat.
I found Friendly Fuel by looking at the prices for oil and they were not the absolute cheapest but close. i called a few companies and liked what I heard. Our furnace was over 30 years old and I had Friendly replace it. They did the job exactly as promised. A few years after, the water heater started acting up and we had them do that job, too.
They were on time and there have been no problems with any of their work. I don't spotcheck the oil prices but their bills continue to be reasonable.

I have used Friendly Fuel for my heating oil and burner service for a few years now.  Their prices have always been reasonable and the service outstanding.  I had my regular oil burner service performed on 10/24 - but on Saturday 10/27 I still noted a buzzing sound (which I thought was just a vibration) and some residual fuel odor.  I called and the owner was here within 20 minutes. The buzzing sound was a major part that was failing.  It was promptly replaced and my burner has been running efficiently ever since.  The repair had nothing to do with the regular maintenance.  In fact, it was happening before - but I neglected to report it to the technician.  I would definitely recommend Friendly Fuel to my friends and neighbors.  Heating oil can be purchased less expensively - but if you want a reliable company with scheduled deliveries and responsive service, Friendly Fuel is the one.

They were my previous oil company. They had no idea what they were doing. On the last visit, I spent $850. They were punctual, though. I will not use them again in the future.
