They own a bunch of car dealerships. The job went very good overall. The clean up was very good. I highly recommend them.

I don't think the sales representative was very helpful. All they wanted to do was put me in a newer vehicle with even a higher monthly payment, which I stated I did not want. Was extremely dissatisfied with company.

The purchase of the vehicle was an extremely pleasant experience. The salesman initially showed us a 2010 Highlander and 2010 4Runner. We advised him that we wanted to wait for the 2011 models to come out, and there was no pressure to purchase the 2010. He took our contact information and called back approximately two months later to advise the 2011 models were in stock. The 4Runner we wanted was not available locally, so he found one and had it delivered to the dealership. The salesman was fantastic, the best we've ever had when purchasing a vehicle. The only hiccup in the entire sales experience was due to a miscommunication between my credit union and the dealership over the financing paperwork. After taking possession of the vehicle, we had to go back to the dealer to amend the credit union paperwork. West Herr gave us a free oil change voucher for our inconvenience, which was a nice touch. Overall, we were extremely pleased with the sales experience and will definitely go back again when looking for another vehicle.

As for the service department at West Herr: One Saturday morning while preparing for a trip, I noticed an indicator light was on and I was unable to find a resolution in the owners manual or determine what the light was indicating. I took the vehicle directly to West Herr in Orchard Park, and they took me immediately. The service writer looked at the light and went back to speak with a mechanic. He came back and explained that the light indicated the audible back up signal was on, and showed me how to activate and deactivate the audible signal/light. This particular feature had not been explained upon vehicle purchase and I had inadvertently activated the indicator. I was in and out of the service garage within ten minutes. Although this trip to their service department was due to my ignorance, I was treated extremely well with no condescension by the service writer, who took the time to diagnose, correct, and thoroughly explain the vehicle feature without calling for an appointment.

It is pretty east to get an appointment. The people there are pleasant and efficient.
