I took my dyson in because it had lost suction. I went here because I had had it repaired elsewhere and that wasn't successful so I thought I would have a better experience here. The Oreck Repair shop is close to my new home and advertises that they fix all models. To be fair, the counterperson said that it took a long time to get Dyson parts when I dropped it off approx. March 8. I went back on April 5 and surprise, surprise--the much needed last part needed had just came in that morning. Giving them 10 minutes, i left only to return to a completely broken Dyson because a crucial piece of plastic had been snapped off. It is now in worse shape than when I went in. They offered to fix it at no cost but I asked for my $152 back, took my now useless $600 vacuum cleaner to the car and left. Actually, they loaded it for me. I left because I have no faith that they know anything about vacuum repairs. My advice? Stay away.
