Lowe's

Worst store and worst customer service in the history of business. Placed an order online for pick-up and they cancelled it without notifying me (because they could not obtain the products I had purchased through their website). Placed a second order for delivery and only 1 item out of 4 were available. They charged my account for total price and said all items had been delivered. Been working for four days to correct it and they keep assigning different people to work it out with no resolution so far. Nightmare. I strongly suggest you stay away!!!! Store manager and delivery manager do not seem to care about finding a solution and the main office of Lowe's - the only way to contact them is by phone and I've waited on hold four times for over 30 minutes each time to no avail.

It was satisfactory; we found a tile that we were comfortable with and we picked it up from there but unfortunately when we went to install them, some of the tiles were broken. We took the box back and they exchanged it for the tiles we needed. It was adequate-it wasn't a premium tile; it addressed what I needed considering that we had a reasonable budget and Lowe's being right next door you can get relatively sure that you are not going to run out of stock on one particular item. It satisfied what I needed to do.

It's almost over after 4 months, but there were too many issues...way too many and it continues until today.  I must say I like the work that has been done but what a stressful ordeal.  Even though they say they do,  they don't keep track of the momentum or scheduling of the workers.  It was always difficult to decide who was in charge and to make it worse, the person who was supposed to be in charge left to go to another store. It became and still is the excuse for why things were not moving. One reason for going to such a store was it's always open and supposedly there's always someone available in charge of my project...unless they are all off on the same day.
It started with a lot of hope and happiness.  I had a very patient and professional decorator help me select all the products I wanted.  Sometime we had to search until I got just the right product.  I can honestly say she left no website or company unturned finding items.  After selecting all the products I was called to the store to finalize the contract. 
All money gets paid upfront, but I was told anything I don't like can be returned.  This process was so laborious because of an ancient computer system and no printer in the same room. Whenever she needed to print there were issues ie locked door, no ink, etc. In the middle of this part of the process I went to Costco for almost 2 hours rather than wait in the store because of computer and ink issues.  I live a bridge and 35 minutes away from the store and didn't want to come back another day.
I was told that after the contract was signed that permits would be applied for right away. Wrong.  I signed the contract on June 19th and the first permit was delivered July 1st and approved the same day. The second permit delivered 7/14 and the third on 7/21 because of someone's vacation. All permits were approved within days. I was already 1 month in.
All items were delivered to my garage on 7/25 and I was hopeful again. Wrong.  Work didn't get started until August.  After many starts and pauses I am now close to the end and the issues continue, such as  I decided not to use a product and had the contractor return it to the store for a refund of the product and labor costs i was charge. First I was told I was never charged for it and when I sent copies of my papers that I was charged I was told the product never got returned to the store.
That is why I am writing this review early.  It has been 4 months and I am tired of this struggle and needed to vent. Lowes might be good to install 1 item but not deal with multi layered projects because they really do not have good management.
I believe that when it is finally done I will like it but I would not use Lowes ever again.

They have always been very good. They are responsive. They are timely. If any problems develop, they take of them promptly. Overall, I have had very positive experiences with them. I was happy with their services.

Went well.  No hassle.  Didn't have to wait long to get a service rep.

I have shopped at Lowes in Orangeburg for nearly two years now. My purchases have been big ticket (fencing and appliances) and not once has the experience been pleasant. Finding someone to locate the fencing took 3 days, my washer came in damaged and finally my refrigerator and dishwasher were late for Thanksgiving dinner.
Fencing: When it was delivered I was very happy. the delivery crew was professional. Its unfortunate that the hunt for the product was so distracting.
Washing machine: The machine arrived damaged but no one checked on the condition when the machine arrived. The store tried to get me to wait another week for a replacement but in the end the store manager upgraded me so I didn't have to wait.
Dishwasher and Refrigerator: By far the worst experience. I made the purchase since the store said they'd have it to me BY Thanksgiving. LIES!!! They blame their delivery company but... thats LOWE's problem. LOWE's destroyed my family time and have yet to make it up to me. I lost two days wages over this and no one has said a word... time to sue I suppose. Oh, and on top of this... no one told me i had to schedule installer separately so... the dishwasher is a giant paperweight in my kitchen... nice.

They were very efficient and they were pretty expert at what they were doing. I was happy with the service. They were punctual, and the whole nine yards. The price was very reasonable.

Lowe's came on time and were neat and professional. The personnel in the store, however, were not knowledgeable enough to be doing the sales part. The young man we had was very nice, but had to keep asking other employees for help and advice. I think they are a little understaffed.

They're much better than their competitors. The installers were professional and on time. They were very pleasant to work with. I was impressed with their efficiency and neatness. They didn't leave any mess and did a super job on the installation.

Lowe's has a very good selection of countertops. It was necessary to schedule an appointment there to discuss the project and the procedure, and the staff person at Lowe's was very helpful. The subcontractor for Lowe's was Counter Revolution, and I thought they were helpful, did a good job and really knew what they were doing. It took a few weeks to get the new counter. It looks great. It might have been possible to get a better price by going through a direct-seller of countertops, but I felt reassured by Lowe's involvement.

THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS. THEY WERE IN WHEN THEY STATED. THEY WERE INSTALLED WHEN THEY PROMISED. THEY WERE A VERY GOOD CREW.

THEY WERE VERY NICE. ESTER WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND KNEW EVERYTHING THEY NEEDED TO KNOW. THEY WERE WONDERFUL AND GUIDED US THROUGH A LOT OF THINGS. THEY ASKED US A LOT OF QUESTIONS TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO WORK IN YOUR KITCHEN AND WHICH CABINETS WOULD WORK BEST.
