Best Construction

Best Construction was prompt in getting estimates and setting repair schedules. All of their work has been top notch. They are my GO-TO guys for any work I can not do myself.

Marty and the entire gang at Best Construction offer the most superior services available.  From start to finish everything flowed smoothly. The crew was timely and very courteous. I was always in the loop and given updates frequently. They were very neat and clean during the entire construction period. I simply can not thank them enough for such a great job. Yuri came out to give the estimate - he was the main reason I hired BEST - he explained all the details up front and also educated me on the various types of vinyl siding available.    He spent at least 45 minutes going over the job before I called and hired BEST.

Fast and very helpful

They started on Monday and by Monday night the roof was completely torn off.  By Wednesday they were finished.  When we came to the house on Wednesday, it looked like no one had ever been there.  There was nothing laying in the yard - everything had been cleaned perfectly.   We felt it to be a bit pricey, but the quality of the materials and the workmanshio was excellent.  Should the need arise, we would use Best Construction again and would recommend to others.

I can't say enough about this business and the people who run and work for it.  The quote was well thought out and discussed at my convenience, everything was clear and understood before any work began.  During the process they were extremely flexible and able to change things along the way and adjust for oversights and unforeseen surprises which always come up in construction. The crew arrived everyday at exactly the time they said they would be there, there was no obnoxious music to deal with, no one smoked close to the house and if they did smoke on a break there wasn't evidence to be found. The work was steady and continuous; they never left my job to do another.  Every person who was on the job was very skilled, professional & polite. These are people you would be pleased to have as your neighbors and friends.  At the end of the day, the work was discussed with me, EVERYTHING was put away, cleaned up and out of my way.  The addition on my house is actually built better than the rest of my house!  A number of years have passed since this work was done, but everything they did still looks and functions as if it were brand new.  Everyone who sees the parts of my house that Best Construction either remodeled or built is always impressed by the quality. You get what you pay for.  I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Marty was very responsive and a great communicator from day 1.  He promptly returned all phone calls and answered all my questions.  He also checked in as the job was underway to address any concerns.  His crew started a week earlier than expected and completed the job in less time than expected.  His crew was very professional and took the time to protect our landscaping and cleaned up at the end of each work day.  The roof looks great and really enhances the curb appeal of our home.  They also included a ridge vent on our peak that runs North to South which we did not have before.  We have a Cape Cod that was built in the early 1960's and our daughter's room always got extremely warm in the summer.  The additional ridge vent really seemed to solve that issue for us.  The toughest part of this whole process was choosing the color.

Perfect.  Workers were very friendly and courteous, and explained exactly what they were doing and why.  Could not have been better service.

We were out of town. We called. They removed the snow and ice promptly and we had no damage. We were pleased.

It went really well. They were here earlier than we originally contracted them to be. They started earlier as well. They did a really good job and the price was exactly what they told us it was going to be. Usually prices sneak up on you on a big jobs like this. It was quality work at a fair price.

The master carpenter who designed and performed the work, did so with attention to detail, and great communication.  
You may find a less expensive contractor, but you won't find a better one. I recommend Best if you want the best.

They were very nice and they did a very good job. And, they're fast and did exactly what they said they'd do. They were extremely efficient and very nice and did very fuzzy work with the siding. All in all, it was just wonderful. All in all, I was very satisfied. Well, they were actually a little bit more expensive than the other ones but they actually did what the consultant had recommended.

Two days and not one nail left behind in the yard or driveway.

Everything was fine. We had little things occur after but they were very prompt to return and fix them right away.

I contracted with Best Construction due to their reputation and also what I considered a fair price after getting quotes from other contractors.   Work was performed with excellent workmanship and in a  timely manner.   Worksite was cleaned up daily.  Work crews were friendly and continually asked if we had any questions and if we were happy with the installation progress.
 I definitely would put them on the top of my list for future renovations.

From the digging of the foundation to the finish work took two months, which we thought was very reasonable, given the scope of the project.  We have an old farmhouse, and, like most old houses, things can be challenging at times.  Every unexpected hurdle was met with common sense solutions and revisions were made cheerfully, in spite of the fact that this all took more time than they had originally planned on.
Most of the work was done by Best's own crew, all very experienced people and all very courteous and professional.  What sub-contracting was done (foundation, heat/air and painting) was handled by people who were every bit as professional as Best.  All crews were as quiet as they could be under the circumstances, and clean up was done daily, so that we didn't have to come in and pick up after them.  Final clean-up was very thorough.
All the work is top notch.  There were no corners cut.  We feel like we have a superior addition now, that will only add to the value of the home.  We couldn't be happier and would recommend this company to any one who wants a quality job done.  They may not be the cheapest in town, though their pricing is fair, but, for home improvements that you will be living with for years, quality is very important, maybe even moreso than cost.

Best Construction were very excellent. I enjoyed them very much and they did a very good job. I had a porch at the lakeside of the house which was old and rotting out. They took that one down and put up a new one. I was very pleased with the work they did. They also rerouted some electrical lines for me which wasn't included in the quote but they went ahead and did it anyway. They were here on time every day, they did a good day's work, they cleaned up after themselves. You couldn't ask for more.

They are very professional and arrived on time every morning. The men worked hard a day long, and cleaned up after themselves before they left for the day.
