I moved to Olean in August, and since the house we rented was an older one, there were a few issues that needed attention. My landlord sent Mike to take care of a leaking faucet and I also contacted him on two separate occasions to take care of issues with the water heater and the heating furnace.
Water Heater and Furnace:
Now as far as the water heater and furnace are concerned, he fixed them admirably and everything was fine.
Leaky Faucet:
The leaky faucet, however, is a different story altogether. In the last 9 months, I have had to ask him to come in at least three times to come and repair the faucet. He was apparently replacing the washer, but that wasn't solving the problem.
The last time I kept calling him, and left several messages, but there was absolutely no response and after over a week of stress I called someone else. (I'm still waiting on the plumber here too!)
He does a decent enough job I suppose, but the stress of waiting and never hearing back from them is driving me nuts while I watch my water bill skyrocket as the leak literally pours money down the drain by gallons!

I have used this twice before and had concerns. This time I call in the morning and he says he will be there by noon. He is a no show so I call leave two messages still no show and no call back. I have made an appointment with anther company

I had called Mr. Chew at 9 am on Tuesday morning to have my kitchen sink unclogged. I could not even leave a message on his cell phone. He called me back a few minutes later to tell me that he was sorry that he missed my phone call. He proceeded to tell me that he had 11 messages on his phone and they were all from that morning. I told him that my kitchen sink was clogged and asked him if he could unclog it and he told me that he could. He wanted to get back to the people that had left him the messages on his phone and he would get back to me with an appointment. I said O.K. I waited and waited and waited and no return phone call. I was furious. My fiance had reminded me later on that evening that wasn't the first time he lied to us. A few years back we had him install a hot water tank, he did a good job then, however, he told us that he would be back to take the old hot water tank to the dump. He never showed up to take the old hot water tank to the refuse station. I would not recommend this plumber to anyone!!!!
