North Star Sewer and Drain Cleaning Service

Called for a regular snaking of the sewer using North Star (This is also the 49.95 guys online) I told them the problem and they sent someone over who was not from their company, rather someone who was not from their company. I'm guessing it was someone working off of commissions. 
There was grease in the line and the serviceman said that the best way to do it was via water jet and the cost would be $1200. Should have only cost $500-$600. He said it was comparable to other sewer companies, ( I had checked after and it was drastically more expensive). After the jetting the kitchen was draining fine.
Then I wanted to get the tub done as well as the water was draining slowly. He said we needed to jet the line and that it would cost me an additional 400$. He also said we should snake the line ($100) just incase (I found out this is totally unnecessary if the jet was done.) The water from the tub would drain still drain slowly so we proceeded to check the roof to see if anything was blocking the vent from upstairs -- nothing. At that point I wanted a refund for the work in the bathtub but he only offered to come back next year to snake all the lines free of charge.
Learned an expensive lesson. Be careful!

This man was so honest, he was so nice. He was a big help. He was very honest and very helpful. They were honest, they did what they had to do. They were excellent, excellent. They were offering this camera which was $99.99. that was for free to draw in business. They were fast, the man explained everything. He was very honest, explained everything, neat, didn't mess anything, explained everything to me.
