Each Spring I look forward to purchasing annuals and perreniels for my garden at Keil Brothers. The quality is superb and the attention is excellent. My garden in Queens is small but I put in the best plants I can find. I had called to be sure they had rudbekias, they had been moved and searched the site until they found them! Really helpful and service is excellent.

They are the best garden center in Queens. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They are very helpful. The price is reasonable for the quality. They give me big plants. They are not cheap but you get what you pay for. It is excellent quality. They are very responsive. They will custom order if they don't have something in stock.

I thought that Keil Bros Inc were good business men; I have to admit that. We had issues with what they delivered to me. I had ordered compost and they had delivered soil. However, they dealt with it in an extremely professional manner. They gave me adequate reparations for the mistake they made. They apologized, dealt with testing the soil and even paid for it. It was a stupid mistake on their part because they had written the wrong item on the slip. They dealt with it as one should in a good business. Even though I paid a little more than I probably wanted to, it was worth every penny in the end. Any other company might moan about something like that but they dealt with patience and professionalism all the way. Things happen but what counts is that they made up for the problems. They are the only people that offer certain services in the area and because of that their price is something that only affluent people are able to afford for such services. They come off as pricey to a lot of people because they are one of the only places offering such a wide selection in type of material, quality and plants. However I felt like they could have had a larger selection of things in the gardening care department. I had some issues with that but may be they could still improve. Their plant selection was amazing. I will go back to them in the future.

I brought the blower in because it would die as I was using it. Art, behind the counter, was not optimistic about it being a cheap repair. He said he would look at it first to see if the carburetor was bad and make it not worth fixing. After one call to see what he had found after 6 days, he had not looked at it. I decided to go to the store, pick the blower up and take it somewhere else. When I arrived he said "Let me look at one thing". He proceeded to take the gas tank apart, found the trouble and fixed it in about 30 minutes. He does quality work, he is just very busy and did not get to my blower until I showed up and was ready to buy a new blower.
