Defining Imagery Fine Photography

When I first spoke to Joanne , I told her that I wanted natural , rustic type photos since I have many trees and foliage and large rocks in my yard . When she arrived , she wanted to place everyone in front of my vinyl sided house . I explained that I did not want this and we proceeded to move . We wound up posing everyone in front of a shed and that was ok with me ,. Joanne said we would move around as the sun moved , but Joanne took 110 pictures in the same place . Finally , at the very last 2 photos I said " let's move over here so we have some colorful trees in the background " so she followed my lead . Then the nightmare really began, The photos came back and they were awful ! They Also had the wrong names on top " Rachel and Dwayne " which are not mine and my husbands name . In the background of every picture was my neighbors vinyl sided house , and the problem with that is she says she CANNOT Photoshop it out ! She also cannot do any close ups beyond a certain point ( I don't know what that means , but I can't get the final outcome close up on some shots ). Joanne then told me that I probably did not notice that she was taking only full body shots from where she was standing . Really ?!? How would I know that ?! she also got very belligerent towards me each time I asked for things to be edited , and told me off terribly , I am the customer , I'm trying to get my photos edited to my liking and wondering why the heck I can't get close ups . Why didnt she notice the neighbors house anyway while she was taking the photos when she knew I had an issue ?! Not someone who is experienced . She has accused me of trying to get free pictures , lying , and she says that she stayed at my home overtime so I really owe her money . I have emails to back all of this up ,but the point here is , Joanne is absolutely a novice as a business woman or she would know how to handle a small problem when it arises . She has tried to discredit my character and that is worse than anything in my book . I've worked with special Ed kids for 14 years and have volunteered many years ago in Connecticut for meals on wheels , I also used to bring milk from the schools regularly to a homeless shelter for women and children . I really never give myself a compliment ,but I am a generous and kind person and no one can take that from me . That's also why I sharing , my nephew went to the Middle East after that photo shoot , and the photos were lousy .
