When he came out for the estimate, he assured me he could handle the job. He spent of lot of time sweet talking me into hiring him. He wanted a downpayment of $1000. I ended up paying him half up front and half when the job was finished. When asked if he was licensed and insured, he told me he was. However, I found out this was a lie after he completed the job. Later, my neighbors wrote a letter complaining about the fence, and I received a violation notice from the Town of Tonawanda Building Department stating I would be fined $250 per day and prosecuted unless the fence was corrected within 14 days. I went to the Building Department, and they told me I needed to appeal and apply for a variance. I lost the appeal because the fence was not up to code. After attempting to contact him via phone, I wrote him a letter explaining the code violation and imploring him to fix it. When I finally spoke with him over the phone, he flat out told me he would not fix the fence according to code because I was a satisfied customers who already paid him. I want people to be aware that he is not ethical at all.

My experience with DMV Fencing was terrible. The contractors who were sent to do the job were rude and disrespectful. I felt very uncomfortable having my family around them because of their inappropriate behavior and I would discourage anyone from hiring them.
