We have a Victorian house that is over 100 years old. We have had numerous restorations and repairs over the years. AVA Roofing provided one of the finest additions to our house by far. AVA did not provide the lowest estimate, but their product and work was well worth the additional cost. From the beginning, Tony was dedicated to providing a roof that was not only structurally sound, but would enhance the looks of the house. Most impressive was his finding and recommending shingles for our turret that matched its fish scale shingles on the walls. He was helpful and responsive throughout the whole process. As others have noted, there was always one of the brothers on-site through the whole construction. They finished in 4 days, primarily because they had 9 workers present for most of those days. The cleanup was exceptional, especially in our neighbor’s driveway, where they went on hands and knees to remove any blemishes as well as hardware. We never expected how many people have walked by our house and commented favorably on our roof. As one neighbor said, “We have roof envy”. We highly recommend AVA Roofing.

AVA Roofing did a wonderful job re-roofing our house. They were low bidder out of several companies who bid on the project, & were the only ones who seemed to actually want the job. It was scheduled for the first week of October, but in the middle of September one of the owners called & said they could start the next day! We were thrilled. The job was done in two days & our roof is absolutely beautiful. They cleaned up the yard very nicely also. The man next door saw the job AVA Roofing did on our house & also hired them to do his roof, which they did the following day. We are delighted & I recommend this company highly.

Would definitely give more than 5 stars if I could. They worked tirelessly every day and were always pleasant, organized and efficient. The owners and the crew all have a great knowledge base and worked as a great team, one could tell they love what they do and have great respect for the client and for each other. I had a complete tear off roof, complete siding and gutters and some windows replaced; I feel that the quote was more than fair, considering that they listened to and paid attention to every detail that I was worried about. (And the clean-up every day was as if they weren't even there.) I am confident that they resolved all kinds of problems left behind by the prior home-owner. In addition, with some suggestions from Tony regarding design details (black gutters and downspouts, black drip edge) and a request from me to consider a black metal roof for a small front porch area (installed by Vitaly), I think my home now has amazing curb appeal. I was very impressed with the entire process and I recommend then without reservation.

These guys are the best. Anyone who rates them less than 5 stars I'd have to question their motives. I would never recommend any other company to do your roof. Tony was awesome from start to finish. He explained everything they were going to do; told me exactly when they'd show up (they did) and when they would finish (they did on time as well). He showed me photos of the work as it proceeded. An incredible family business that deserves your business. Don't even hesitate. I dreaded getting our roof replaced since we bought the house almost 25 years ago - but now I won't need to worry about it for as long as we are here thanks to Ava. If you don't believe the five star reviews on some of the sites that don't verify reviews, just check them out on BBB. I know many sites are pay for play when it comes to reviews; and they also don't check to see if they are being posted by competitors. But the BBB will do that - and they just happen to have a perfect 5 star rating there. I can't recommend these guys high enough. I wish every company I dealt with was like Ava.

After our wind storm on Sunday, February 24, 2019, I had numerous shingles fly off my roof. I checked my attic and there was light penetrating from 2 spots from the roof, and had melting snow coming in. My facebook had ads from WM. C Rott and Son saying if you had damage from the storm to give them a call. I left a message and they set up an appointment on Wednesday for an estimate. When there sales rep arrived he asked about the age of the roof, etc. I told him I wasn't in the market for a new roof and just needed to replace the shingles I had lost. He then told me that they don't work on roofs older than 10 years old. I was very disappointed because they could have told me when I set up the appointment. I then contacted AVA Roofing through Angie's list last night on 3/1/19 and set up an appointment for later this week. To my surprise William from AVA showed up and went on my roof, cleared the snow with a shovel, and found the trouble spots. He left and returned with the shingles and spent about 2 hours replacing my shingles. He was professional and went above and beyond to fix my roof by making time to schedule me in on such a short notice. Then the owner of AVA roofing, Anatoliy Apenchuc, showed up and explained what work was done and what future work should be done in my attic and the work that would be needed for a future roof replacement. This company was great and didn't push a new roof on me. I would highly recommend them for any roof repair or roof replacement. They are professional and did a great job.

Great! I'm a retired skilled tradesman. I know perfection when I see it. Every step by the book. Everything completed in one (long) day, including chimney rebuild & reflashing siding @ inside corners. Crew worked like a Swiss watch, quite conversation, no swearing. Very happy with cleanup too.

I met with 11 contractors with 11 different bids. Pricing ranged very high to very low. I went AVA, not because of price, but because of professionalism and attention to detail. Tony was the only 1 of 11 who asked to go inside to check the attic, to view chimney structure to view inside construction and sofit structure. A full comprehensive overview of the project and timelines. Great company, great product, A+ Customer Service.

We contacted AVA in the late spring and 3 months later we have a new roof on our house. Tony and Vitality are pleasure to work with. One thing I like the most is they're all business and they deliver what's on their contract. I've had 5 estimates from top contractors on Angie's list and we felt like AVA was the only one that took time to explain and cared about my roof and wanted to make sure we understood everything we talked about. He provided PDF estimate with photo inspection at the end. Three days later we signed our agreement.

Tony and his crew were great. Very professional. Honest and up front from the day we contacted him. Returned calls, texts, and emails promptly. Fair and honest pricing. I had Tony and his crew replace my roof last Nov. My roof is about 2000sqft and they got that all in one day. Start to finish with no problems and everything was cleaned up. It’s been a few months and no issues. Tony is a great guy, he worked with me, gave me options on type of repairs we can do. Overall I would give AVA a 10/10. I don’t get that many roofs done but I've stories from coworkers and I can honestly say if go AVA you'll be treated like a #1 customer.

AVA Roofing is the most responsive contractor that I ever worked with. Not only did the owner return my calls timely, he checked in with me multiple times to give me updates during the project. He showed me actual pictures of issues found and explained the plan to correct those issues. His workers had good work ethics and were just as professional and polite as the owner. The job went wonderfully quick. They were even able to get me in earlier than expected. I had a new roof before the snow. The crew was professional and punctual. Tony was easy to work with and even offered suggestions. I was able to get a cedar shake embossed vinyl siding on my dormers that look amazing.

The massive roof on our single-story family home in Amherst NY was in dire need of replacement. I called in every major roofer in the area for a thorough site visit. AVA was head and shoulders above the rest in professionalism and thorough due diligence. They seem to be the leader of the newer generation of roofers in WNY. While they were clearly incredibly busy with ongoing projects and winter bookings (I called them in early spring, and my project was completed few months later, while we waited for our slot in their calendar, AVA did their best to tarp the roof to protect the house from leaks), they always made time to answer my questions, return to the site for more research, and provide complete information. Sales rep Tony and owner Vitaliy are both stars. Tony has awesome customer skills and thorough understanding of roofing. The owner Vitaliy, like Tony, is professional, wonderfully warm and personable, hands-on, and readily available. He offered thoughtful solutions to a couple of issues. The tear-off crew did a thorough job with exceptional clean-up. When I noticed that they had destroyed a couple of sprinkler heads, Vitaliy was quick to make reparations. AVA roofing crew did an A+ job. Because I couldn't be onsite for most of the weeklong project, Tony sent me photos and narrated video at various stages. I can confidently say that none of the other roofers would have made this effort! For AVA roofing, it seems to be standard practice. When I returned to the house, Tony came out personally for a thorough walk-through. From start to finish, AVA was passionately committed to meeting our needs and surpassing our expectations. Everyone who comes to the house comments immediately on the quality of the roofing. I'm not surprised by the unequivocal, superlative reviews , and you won't be either! AVA offers truly exceptional service and workmanship at highly competitive rates.

They are the worst contractor I've ever had. When work is completed, they demanded "extra money" outside of contract. They damaged my precious flower tree during removal and refused to replace it. Also they are agreed to install "ridge vent" but they just used an old vent and and put a cover for it. They didn't even notify me until I found out. I am going to take this matters to the court.

"THIS CUSTOMER DID NOT PAY A PENNY FOR HIS ROOF YET. Hello, You are upset for only one reason. We did not agree to give you $630 discount on top of the $475. You are trying to clam that we have installed "electric roof fans" that previously were there. You have not payed us a penny for the job and it has been over a three weeks. We have installed a certain-teed roof with 10 years workmanship and 50 years roof. You didn't care much about your roof, you just looking for a way to scam a contractor. When we first met, you made it clear on first appointment that you wanted the cheapest price even if it meant to go over existing layer. We explained to you that ventilation is very important and you would need vented soffit ( intake). You didn't want that and you said "other roofs are fine just like that". When the job was finished we told you that we will refund you for your bush. Thank You for your time!"
