Jamie and his team were terrific. We were under a serious time crunch and they adjusted their schedule to work with us. Very reasonably priced, excellent work. I give Jamie all the stars.

Dave was very professional, punctual and answered all of my questions oh a timely manner. His crew came in and finished a few days earlier than was anticipated.

Owner Jamie designed a cost effective way to put in accent flooring which gives the appearance of a hearth. He did a beautiful job. Jamie is a true craftsman. Highly recommended.

Absolutely 100% impressed. Very honest about the condition of our floor and didn't try to sell us what we didn't need. He refinished our upstairs and downstairs hardwood floors and made them look brand new. Stayed within the time frame he gave us during the quote and even followed up later to make sure we knew how to care for the floor to make sure it lasts longer. Very happy with the staff and service we received.

Jamie, Dave and Justin were excellent to work with.  They were professional, courteous and meticulous. Jamie Scott came over and gave me an estimate the same day I called him.  They showed up on time, Dave did a phenomenal job, cleaned up after himself, worked quietly and efficiently....but best of all..... my floor is gorgeous.  I will certainly refer anyone who asks, Absolute Hardwood does an amazing job.

We were doing a complete kitchen tear-out and remodel as well as replacement of the flooring in the adjoining family room. Absolute was recommended by our project manager. We had visited a couple of local hardwood showrooms to choose the kind of wood we wanted to use. The project manager suggested we use his source for the wood because he was more comfortable with the quality and could get better pricing.

Jamie (principal/owner of Absolute) came out and consulted with us on the installation. He had good suggestions regarding the transition from the kitchen to the family room and the stairs to the back door. There's a step down from the kitchen floor to the family room floor. Due to my concern about the edge of the ceramic tile used for the kitchen chipping, he suggested using a bull-nosed edge strip of the ash hardwood to finish the kitchen floor that would then lead to an ash riser and then the family room floor. He also found a way to install new risers and treads on the back door steps while keeping them even in height and preserving the existing stringers that were trimmed into surrounding paneling.

We were able to schedule the floor work at the appropriate time and Jamie and his crew met the schedule. The installation of the floor boards and trim were neat and precise. We chose to finish the wood on site. They were able to prepare the wood with minimal dust and applied two coats of finish. Unfortunately there were flaws in the second coat - it seemed that they may have used some sealer that had already started to set. When I explained the problem to my project manager, Jamie came back out and re-sanded and re-finished the floor with a 3rd coat without suggesting a need for additional compensation. There are a couple spots where the sanding of the perimeter of the floor left very slight depressions and there are some boards that don't lie perfectly flat (not bad enough that I would describe them as being and quot;cuppedand quot;). These are the reasons why I gave Absolute a and quot;Band quot; score for quality. Other than that, we're very happy with this firm's work.

LIST AND PICKED A COMPANY FOR THE WORK THAT WAS LOCAL. CALLED ABSOLUTE AND THE OWNER ANSERED MY CALL IMMEDIATELY, GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE WHICH MY HUSBAND AND I LOOKED OVER AND THOUGHT WAS VERY FAIR.
WE SET A DATE FOR THE WORK TO BE COMPLETED, IT WAS DONE IN THE TIME FRAME TOLD TO US. WE WERE VERY HAPPY WITH HIS WORK AND WOULD RECOMMEND ABSOLUTE TO ANYONE THAT WANTED THEIR FLOORS REFINISHED.

They came by and did what they said they were going to do. Observing them and just seeing the equipment. Anyone that has these floors done and think that a handyman is going to be able to do it, do not even waste your time. The equipment needed to do this and the special tools are key to doing a professional job.

The owner replied promptly to my request for an estimate, arrived on time on the date scheduled for the project, completed the project on time on budget...was neat and tidy.....no muss...no fuss

This is the 3rd house that I have had that Jamie has done some hardwood flooring. Estimates are scheduled quickly and are scheduled quickly and are always on target. They are extremely professional, treat each job as if it was being done in their own home, and leave no mess or dust behind. They are always on time and on budget and the workmanship is beyond compare.

For hardwood flooring install and/or repair I would recommend Jamie and his crew to anyone who is looking for top quality work at a very reasonable cost

I was very pleased with the whole process: they came when they said they would, the job took as long as they predicted, the interruption to our household was kept to a minimum. The area was sealed off with plastic to keep the dust under control.

I would absolutely recommend him to others. There were two firms we invited. Absolute Hardwood was the cheapest. They showed up on time and cleaned up after themselves. They opened up windows for ventilation and we couldn't close them after they left. They came back out and closed them.

Start to finish Jamie and his son were true professionals. Everything went as he said it would. He arrived every day like clock work. He uses a dust free sanding system. We had very little if no dust in the house. He and his son do all the work. His price is very fair. I Plan to use him again.

Most of the work was completed day #1: sanding, repairing and first coat of varnish. They came back the next day to finish up with a second coat of varnish. Small repairs/replacements had to be made in a few spots, and I can find them only because I know where they are. The system he uses is completely dust-free. The process is understandably noisy and smelly, but the end result makes it definitely worthwhile. We did spend 2 nights out of the house but had no problem staying there after that. Jamie and his crew are professional and definitely know what they are doing.

I heard of Jamie through a friend of a friend. I called him one morning, he visited my home that afternoon and I had a quote in hand by the time he left. I called back on a couple days later and asked him to begin work right away - he showed up a few days after that morning and was finished the next day. Jaime and his assistant arrived promptly and quickly unloaded their equipment and got to work. They brought a second set of shoes with them to wear indoors, saving the other set for running back and forth to their van so as not to track snow/dirt indoors. They worked quickly and efficiently, making sure not to rush or skip over things. Jaime was very knowledgeable and patient answering my questions. He had a decent amount of equipment (sanders, buffers, etc.) but made sure not to damage my doorways and walls maneuvering around hallways. His sander vacuumed wood dust into a container, so it wasn't necessary to tape off the room they were working in - it gave off an aroma of slightly roasting wood (not burnt!) but went away as soon as he was finished. The equipment wasn't silent, but that was expected and only lasted for a short while. The stain, sealer, and polyurethane smelled like you'd expect, there's no getting around that. Considering the type of work they were doing, it was about as quite and aroma-free as you could hope for - though it's probably best if you're not around after the polyurethane is applied. I had to be around for most of the work though, and Jaime was very accommodating to my schedule. Jamie obviously knows what he's doing and took great pride in the quality of the work he performed. They paid attention to the little details and I felt comfortable letting them do their thing without intruding. It was a great experience, and when I need additional work done I'm going to call Jamie again.

Family owned small business--owner is also worker and has 2 additional employees --all workers were prompt, professional, made an extra effort to finish before my houseguests arrived, consulted with me on all unexpected issues before proceeding, helped move large furniture and returned to replace it -superior work quality, I will use them again to refinish the remaining floors and I recommend them to everyone I know.

The floors look amazing. We are very pleased with the company. They had the floors installed in a short amount of time and the price was reasonable. The price was included in the total amount paid that we paid for the remodeling. The flooring work was subcontracted out to this company.
