Originally received their contact information when researching the installation of a standby generator. Decided to go the portable route but during my initial consult, Tommy indicated that my propane line for my cooktop was illegally run (from the previous owner) and suggested options to fix it. Given that I needed this all up to code and safe in preparation for some home renovations I would be doing - I decided to move forward with him. I was quoted around $1200 (including permits) which seemed fair. However, this is where it went downhill. After the revised quote was received - I tried to schedule time. Multiple emails and no response. Finally received a response after a week, tried to schedule time again and then Hurricane Sandy hit. I waited another 4 days after the stomr as I expected his existing appointments to be pushed. I had to reach out to him again even after I had agreed via email to the work. He suggested a Thurs/Friday (i still have the email correspondence) - to which I promptly replied that those days this week did not work due to travel commitments and asked if Saturday was a possibility. It has now been five days and I have not heard a response. At this point I give up because I shouldn't have to follow-up so many times to have someone come out to perform a paid service. If my money isn't good enough then there are plenty of others that would be happy to do the job. He seemed like a nice guy when I spoke to him in person but I got the sense he could really care less about helping me out. To me - that would speak volumes to the quality of his workmanship given that his responsiveness and professionalism leave a lot to be desired.

He came after his full day of work, since he was already booked for the day and didn't want me to have to wait until the next day. He was extremely professional. While he was there, I asked him to also repair some drains, faucets, and shower heads that were problematic. He did everything I wanted and stayed late, even though he had come late to address the one emergency situation. His price was exactly what I expected, his bill detailed, and he was patient in explaining everything I asked him about. I will definitely call him for the next plumbing work that I need.

The owner of the company has been our plumber for many years. We know them very well and we know what they are doing. We have never found it difficult for appointments. They are on time. They do very good work. The price was fair for what I got. I wouldn't have used them to do this major job if I didn't have the highest level of confidence in them and know that the quality of the work would be there. If there was anything wrong, he would be there in a minute to correct it.

They have worked several times for us and they are very good. They are not cheap but they do really good work and they don't try to raise the prices later. He doesn't have to come back to do the same job again while others have done that. He will look at it first and tell us what needs to be done and what it is going to cost. Their prices may be a little bit higher than that of some other people I have dealt with but those other people have added to our cost later and this person never has. He is good and smart, and he was recommended to me by a friend. He did the work that I needed done. He had to get into a tiny crawl space. He had a worker with him and they had to re-pipe my washing machine drainage. It was hard work but they didn't complain and just got it done. He wanted to use some chemicals to fix my heating system but I didn't want any chemicals to be used. So, he used vinegar and it worked. He wasn't threatened by my suggestion. I would really recommend these guys. I have never felt resentful while paying him money since I feel that he worked for his money and that it was a fair exchange. He is a master plumber and knows his work. He is a good guy.

Tommy is first rate, knows his stuff, and very responsive. On the major renovation, he and his team did a great job in installing all the new plumbing fixtures, boiler, HWH, steam room, etc.. For things such as the new boiler, HWH and heating systems, he was very knowledgeable about the systems and made excellent recommendations. He also did a heat loss survey. When needed, he spent the time to research alternatives. He improved upon what our architect and contractor suggested, for example in locating shut off valves and the steam generator in areas that were both out of the way, and more accessable. Overall, he supplied a very thoughtful service, explained how things worked, and labeled everyting. The second project was an emergency. I had noticed that the red lights on our 28 year old sewage pump system were all light. He came over the next day, located the pump station in the back yard (which we didn't know about), assessed what was needed, made recommendations on replacement pumps (including the exact same model, and a less expensive version by a competitor - which we went with), and did the replacement himself - which entailed going into the sewage tank after it had been pumbed out. He also pointed out that the system for the four floats was originally done wrong, and he corrected it with the replacement set. He could not have been more responsive or done a better job. The third job was to put in the gas lines for a backup generator. We had a problem in that we weren't getting the pressure that we should have been getting from Con Ed. He somehow arranged for Con Ed to come within 30 minutes, and they fixed the problem, which was a problem at their end. Overall, I do not believe that you could find a more knowldgeable plumber and heating specialist.
