Jimmy and his crew exceeded my expectations. His equipment is amazing which includes a new state of the art bucket rig on crawlers that can fit thru the yard gate and able to reach up to 60' in height. He arrived before 9 am and they were done by noon and left my property cleaner than before. I have used Jimmy before and will continue to endorse him 100%. Excellent work.

Promptly responded and gave estimate. Then played phone tag a few times, but Jim always got back to me. Crew arrived and went right to work like a well oiled machine. they cleaned up yard nicely after job was done. Very professional.

They did an excellent job, and the trees still looked beautiful.  James, the owner was a part of the crew as well. The cost was reasonable. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Great.  Called in am, Jim came that evening to give us an estimate and returned the next day to do the job.

Jim and his crew had to go back and forth quite a distance from my yard to the chipper in my driveway for a few hours and climbed to cut one of the fallen trees.
They never complained. did the job, cleaned up, and put the fence back up

This company is excellent! I had gotten two other estimates, one almost twice the price, and both said it would take two days. Jim and his crew did it all in less than 6 hours. They had all the right trucks and equipment, and  cleaned up everything as they went along.  They were very professional which expedited the process.
As sad I was to see the trees go, they had been badly damaged by Sandy, and it was evident they were not going to recover. I was happy when he told me the maple and the last oak were helthy. Also very happy it was not a 2 day process.
 I will recommend them to anyone who needs trees taken care of, and will use them again when I need to. Thank you Jim !

Everything about this company is positive. They are very low key. The person who came out did what he needed to do, cleaned up what he needed to clean up and came and went when we were not even home. They sent us a bill in the mail.

After a couple of calls to respond to an estimate i rerceived 6-8 weeks ago, Jim responded and showed up 4 days later and took the two leaning trees he had given me an estimate for.($700). His men cut up and removed brush, i kept wood. One tree was on a Fence line and all brances had to be roped and lowered.
Before they started, I had asked him for an additional estimate to do the other additional work and he told me he might not get to it today. The estimate was to totally cut down and cut into log wood and removed brush a 100' mulberry tree.Most branches had to be roped and lowered and i would  keep the wood.
Secondly, i wanted a rather tall and bushy Silver Maple tree that was on a line where i am going to install a PVC fence topped in half in fear of another tree uprooting in a storm and destroying my new fence. He did advise if he did that it would probably have to be done every 5-6 years as the tree would grow thin and fast at the top once topped off.
And Thirdly i wanted a 55' DEAD Tupolo tree dropped and left.
Total Price was $900 for that estimate.
They came back the next day and completed the work on the second estimate with in 4 hours. They completly removed all brush , raked and Blew the whole area on my lawn and in front where his chipper was working. Jim Knows his stuff and is at every Job directing his men. Many of my neighbors also use him and are very satisfied with his work.

We were VERY pleased with everything ! Jimmy is extremely prompt and courteous. The price was fabulous for the services provided. They came on time did the job they were expected to do and cleaned up everything. I would use their services again and would be very happy to recommend them to others.

I called Savvy and got an estimate by phone and told him (Jim) to go ahead.  He told me he would do the work in the next week.  He did not come during the next week, understandable after Sandy, but came the folowing Monday and did the work.  I did not realize it for a few days.  I have been working from early to late getting ready for a vacation next week.  This morning (Thursday), I came in to work a bit later and noticed the trees were gone.  I called Jim to find out how he wanted to be paid and I realized I was having a problem with my phone.  This is the third or fourth time that his company has done work for me.  I have been very pleased every time.  The clean up is fantastic and nothing is damaged by his workers or equipment.  My next door neighbor oringially found Jim and I checked him out on Angie's List and with the Suffolk County Consumer Affairs department.  He checked out fine and I meant to do a write up for his last job, but I never did.  I like doing business with some who is reliable, well thought of and who lists an address with their business description rather than just a phone number or web site.  I am very pleased with this company and the work they do.  I would recommend them to anyone needing tree work.

I was very pleased with the whole job. The clean up was thorough and complete. The crew arrived promptly at the time promised, were careful with the equipment they used and did no damage to my lawn or fence.
