Once we had decided on the color and pattern from a selection chart, Ron recommended a granite supply yard.We took a trip to the yard, chose the granite slab that we wanted, and within a certain time (don't remember how long) he sculptured the slab into what is now our counter tops.
We're very happy with them.

Ron Arias has been an absolute pleasure to work with.   We called Ron one and a half weeks ago to install a quartz kitchen counter top + glass tile backsplash.  Ron made an appointment to come to our house promptly, he also showed enormous patience when I unfortunately had to take a international business call during the appt time.  Ron laid out his experience, offered referrals, and was completely open about his timing to do different type of edge cuts, etc.   And he did the templating right there and then - no extra wait.
We were really impressed when Ron called us to let us know that he went within a couple of days of the proposal just to personally check out the slabs we were interested in.  First, it reflected his personal commitment to ensure he could deliver on our specs.  Second, the fact that the granite/quartz wholesaler had such a great relationship with him to go 'the extra mile' with him in selecting and reserving the perfect slab for the cuts we needed spoke volumes about his excellent reputation with the Farmingdale (Long Island) supplier.   Further, Ron worked directly with our cabinet guy to discuss how to bolster the frame in certain places and remediation to the back walls and electrics to make for a smoother installation and longer-term stability of the installs  (p.s. Ron is at least bilingual, he spoke to our cabinet guy in Spanish, which I think helped him explain faster and more clearly what needed to be done).
Ron further surpassed our expectations with delivery - we told Ron when we signed the contract that turnaround time was essential - we're trying to manage the house with a baby and it's been a struggle to go without an operable kitchen (we have to constantly bring baby bottles, etc up and down to guest bathrooms).  Ron understood and appreciated our concern, he was sympathetic.  He stated that he would be ready (with the countertop install) as early as 10-business days, but that he could as a straight-shooter and honest person to commit to 15-business days to be on the conservative side.  The great news was he called us just after a week in to say that he could do the install earlier than expected and he would further be willing to come that Saturday (as both my wife and I work) for the install.  And, Ron did in fact arrive on that Saturday (with an assistant).  The quartz was the beautiful stone we selected.  The fabrication looks spot on.  The edges (we selected half bullnose for a more contemporary look) appear to be perfect:  well-rounded across the top, bottom, and corners. The seams appear minimal, filled entirely, and smooth.   We asked for a 'lip' of the same quartz material for a 3-4" rise from the counter as a base for the backsplash - Ron was able to do that, and again the transition from countertop to backsplash is clean and tight.  (I should note that we're renovating a 1920's house and the walls and cabinets are good bit off from plumb, Ron did an excellent job accounting for this).  In summary, the counter tops look amazing - just like we pictured them - and Ron's excellent communication throughout,  the rapid turnaround time, and Ron's attention to details have made this project so much easier to take on.
I could not more strongly recommend Ron's services.

Ron was on time and very nice.  He has a true passion for what he does and that passion comes through in his work.  He did a magnificent job on our master bathroom.  He brought the shine back on our floors, vanity and shower bench.  The walls and floors are so shiny it looks like glass.  I would definitely use him again.

Ron is very knowledgeable.  Ron made sure that a plumber checked out whether the problem was a plumbing issue before I went to the expense of recalking and regrouting. The plumber he recommended didn't even charge me. Ron did the work and I haven't had a problem since. I will have him back to refinish the marble in my bathroom

He does beautiful work. He is an artist. We asked for one piece since we have an L-shaped kitchen. They had a template that they were able to work with. He sealed it and will seal it again in a year. The edges are smooth and he had a great price on the sink for us. He worked with our schedule and once he got the piece of granite, it went really fast to get it installed. He talked to us about putting a back splash in and we did put one in and it is sealed better than if we would have just had tile. He complimented us on our choice and that made us feel really good. We will probably have him do some work in our bathroom once our kitchen project is done and he has talked to us about the possibility of making a table.

Ron the owner and his workers did a superior job on all my projects. he was polite, honest, and put his heart and soul into making my home everything I wanted it to be and more!!! he had great ideas on little things that gave a finished, professional look to everything he did. I started with the kitchen to give my wife an unexpected gift for her birthday.he did such a great job, that I called him back to do the master bath and all the jobs thereafter. I watched him work without his knowledge and he would take the time to try 3,4,5,different granite tiles, turning them in different directions until he got the veins to match up, and look just the way he wanted. you don't find craftsman like that anymore. He was THAT GOOD!!!.that is why I did the rest of the house. it's hard to find someone you can trust to do a job that he would be proud to have in his own home, but Ron is that guy. Last year in the big storm I had damage to the roof and a leak the master bath. Allstate sent a supervisor to inspect the flood damage. he said and I quote " I've been in a lot of homes and I have to tell you, that you have SOME GRANITE GUY "he was truly impressed with my master bath!!! I know I made the right choice with my contractor... I would recommend this guy to anyone who want to get an amazing job for their money. He was well priced, but his work was outstanding...if I knew how to attach pictures, you would be amazed!!!!!!!

Ron did a great job of removing and replacing our old counter tops. We have a galley styled kitchen with one side encompassing the refrigerator and stove, and the other side encompassing just the sink (approx. 10-1/2 ft. long). Ron had no problem with fullfilling an unusual request of installing the sink side counter top in one piece (no seams). We had recently called him back to apply a second protective recoating. Did a great job.

My overall experience with them was very good as well as excellent. The guy who came out to get the work done did a really nice job. It was exactly what he said it was going to be and he was very responsive too. In fact, we connected him with our daughter and he did her kitchen countertops as well. We would obviously use his services again in the future.

He took a look at it and put some sealants on it. It seems to be holding well. Our experience with them was fine.

Ron was truly a pleasure to work with. I've never met someone as passionate about their work as him. He strives to do the best job possible and at a convenient price that works with your budget. We really lucked out finding such an honest and skillful contractor and when we remodel our other bathrooms in the future we will most definitely hire Ron again!
