We're very happy with them.
We were really impressed when Ron called us to let us know that he went within a couple of days of the proposal just to personally check out the slabs we were interested in. First, it reflected his personal commitment to ensure he could deliver on our specs. Second, the fact that the granite/quartz wholesaler had such a great relationship with him to go 'the extra mile' with him in selecting and reserving the perfect slab for the cuts we needed spoke volumes about his excellent reputation with the Farmingdale (Long Island) supplier. Further, Ron worked directly with our cabinet guy to discuss how to bolster the frame in certain places and remediation to the back walls and electrics to make for a smoother installation and longer-term stability of the installs (p.s. Ron is at least bilingual, he spoke to our cabinet guy in Spanish, which I think helped him explain faster and more clearly what needed to be done).
Ron further surpassed our expectations with delivery - we told Ron when we signed the contract that turnaround time was essential - we're trying to manage the house with a baby and it's been a struggle to go without an operable kitchen (we have to constantly bring baby bottles, etc up and down to guest bathrooms). Ron understood and appreciated our concern, he was sympathetic. He stated that he would be ready (with the countertop install) as early as 10-business days, but that he could as a straight-shooter and honest person to commit to 15-business days to be on the conservative side. The great news was he called us just after a week in to say that he could do the install earlier than expected and he would further be willing to come that Saturday (as both my wife and I work) for the install. And, Ron did in fact arrive on that Saturday (with an assistant). The quartz was the beautiful stone we selected. The fabrication looks spot on. The edges (we selected half bullnose for a more contemporary look) appear to be perfect: well-rounded across the top, bottom, and corners. The seams appear minimal, filled entirely, and smooth. We asked for a 'lip' of the same quartz material for a 3-4" rise from the counter as a base for the backsplash - Ron was able to do that, and again the transition from countertop to backsplash is clean and tight. (I should note that we're renovating a 1920's house and the walls and cabinets are good bit off from plumb, Ron did an excellent job accounting for this). In summary, the counter tops look amazing - just like we pictured them - and Ron's excellent communication throughout, the rapid turnaround time, and Ron's attention to details have made this project so much easier to take on.
I could not more strongly recommend Ron's services.
