Our central air conditioning installation was especially challenging. Duckyâ s had to be installed in 5 locations. Cutting walls apart then repairing them. Neil was there every day working on it. He and his crew cleaned and vacumed after each days work. I would recommend them for any central air conditioning installation

NJM Mechanical just completed the project of replacing my gas fired boiler. From the first meeting with Neil, while I was still soliciting quotes, I felt he was different than others. He was not in hurry to sell me something. He took his time to assess the situation and provide his quote. He also came across as a very honest individual; an observation I experienced first hand by the time he completed the installation of the new boiler, based on how he kept me updated throughout the project. He clearly has an extensive knowledge of the heating systems. He took his time to make sure the work was completed properly and spent two days on a job that was scheduled for one day. Although the delay was due to faulty parts, not once did he complain. He was graceful throughout and kept me updated of every development. He was thorough and his attention to detail was unparalleled; and he left the work site sparkling clean at the end of his work. Cleaner than he found it. Extremely pleased with Neil and NJM mechanical; I highly recommend him.

Just had an old oil furnace removed and had NJM install a new gas boiler. Can t say enough positive things about the overall installation process. Neil kept me completley in the loop during the entire process. Neil and his crew showed up on time, cleaned up and took his time explaining the new boiler. The price was very reasonable. Would HIGHLY recommend NJM for all your HVAC needs!

My furnace stopped working. I dealt with Neal, he couldn't have been more professional and accommodating. He returned my initial call in less than a minute. He arrived at my house the very same day to assess the issue. He explained my options to repair vs. replace. Since my old furnace was over 25 years old I obviously replaced it. Neal was able to get a new replacement installed the very next day. I'd recommend this company to anyone. Thank you Neal!!!

Neal was great! We lost hot water during a cold January night and Neal came out that night to help us schedule a new install for the next morning. Couldn t ask for better customer service! Stayed in touch with us the whole time during the install and even after to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. Highly Recommend NJM.

Neil and Paul from NJM took on a very challenging project for me and knocked it out of the park. My house had a 50 year old boiler installed in a tiny crawlspace under the house. Neil took the time when reviewing the project to actually crawl around and trace the pipes before committing to a estimate. During the project, Neil and Paul were extremely considerate of my family (and dog), who were continuing to live in the house with no heat. They were very careful about bringing in dirt and cleaned up all of the related mess. During the project the temperature outside dropped to 17 F, but Neil and Paul were there each day crawling around in the miserable cold. I never heard a complaint or an excuse. At the end of the project, we were left with a gorgeous new boiler/water heater combo, installed inside the house and easily maintainable going into the future. Throughout the process Neil was honest and upfront about everything, I felt very confident that I understood the work that was being done the whole time. I would recommend NJM to anyone needing heating system work done. I plan to call them again in the future for some other work I need done as well.

Neil was terrific. I needed my evaporator coil replaced on the Friday before a holiday weekend. He picked up the part and was at my home in an hour and a half and had my AC working the same day. he is truly dedicated to customer service and doing the job right.

I chose NJM Mechanical. I chose wrongly. It took 9 days from the time I signed with him to be finished. Neil does not act like a professional and at times is very rude. He treated his helper poorly and berated him many times. When he finally finished I noticed that many of my rooms were not getting air flow through the vents. He became irate and told me that he did nothing with my duct work and it all needs to be replaced at an additional cost. All rooms got AC with the old unit. I wanted him to move the outside unit and the hoses [which hung across a basement window] and he agreed. I thought that was why the price of $9,000 was warranted. He moved the unit but left the pipes in their original position [they still hang in front of the window]. I had another contractor come in to check his work. He stated the price he charged me was OUTRAGEOUS and when he checked the duct work, he advised the duct was REMOVED from the register to my bedroom. This is not something that can just be bumped out of place, it needs to be removed purposely. I feel taken advantage of and believe my duct work was sabotaged in order to get more work and money out of me.

I gave you the option to cancel the contract in the beginning due to you not wanting to wait a week to get scheduled in the middle of a heat wave. Prompt and professional. Contractor adjusted his schedule when air conditioning went out unexpectedly during our move. Was thorough. Explained all options and made recommendations based on our needs and budget. Went out and personally bought filters for us (again, we were in middle of a move) - service was above and beyond what was expected. Will use again. Highly recommend.

NJM was great in accommodating our needs and working with our budget. They were able to fit us in their busy schedule when our Central Air unit decided to go stop working. Considering we needed to have our ductless AC replaced a week before having a party of over 30+ people coming to our house, Neil was accommodating and honest. He gets the job done the right way. Will definitely be using him again for projects down the road.
